Located 7 minutes from Historic Russell, on Waikare Inlet, you will find our beautifully kept wood paneled cottage on 5 acres of native bush. Barbecue on the deck as you watch the sunset change the ocean's colours or have a spa in our covered outdoor area glimpsing the myriad of stars lighting up the inlet. Would you like a dip in the owners heated swimming pool next door? Not a problem! Its yours between 11 - 3 every day October 1st - April 15.

We are located right across the road from Russell's native bush walk, there's a lovely secluded swimming beach 5 minutes walk away, or you might want to borrow one of the kayaks at our own waterfront (which is tidal and a 400 meter walk down a drive and walk back uphill). The kayaks have fishing rod holders if you feel like trying your luck for one of our many luscious snapper .
We have a range of FREE sporting equipment for your use: tennis rackets, croquet, trampoline, table tennis, basketball hoop, kids scooter, lots of indoor games plus SKY, wifi.


And of course, there's Russell. Cruise, take a jet boat out to the Hole in the Rock or a leisurely sailing cruise around the islands, charter a boat for a day's snapper or marlin fishing, visit our historic sites and places, or just bring a book while the kids romp on the beach or paddle in our crystal clear waters. Theres the 87 km railtrail from Opua, mountain bike park at Waikangi - bike rentals both places. There's so many things to do here - I haven't even touched on the heaps of places you'll find to explore within an hour's radius of our home.
