Farmstay on Permaculture small farm, near Otaki
Gary and Emily have lived on the property for 30years and brought their two daughters up there. They have worked professionally in engineering/water and soil, and landscape architecture/organic horticulture. They are now semiretired - but their lifestyle still keeps them pretty busy.

We loved our time at this cozy cottage.
A pleasure to host this couple and would recommend them to others
Ideal winter weekend getaway, rain on the roof, warm fire, and a lovely welcome of a basket of goodies from the owners.
Bring some books and hunker down for a relaxing weekend.
Lovely place with character
Thank you for a lovely few days in your fabulous eco-stay. It has great character, and lovely and warm with the fireplace that cooked our roast dinner beautifully. The breakfast basket is a nice extra bonus and you were very friendly and helpful hosts.
Glad you enjoyed staying with us. You were great guests to have and left the place clean and tidy. We liked meeting you and you'd be welcome again.
Nice long weekend
What everyone else has said. Friendly and helpful hosts. Interesting to see permaculture in action. Close by lots of places to visit. Lovely spot to stay. Enjoyed cooking on the woodburning stove- though we could use the gas cooker too.
Friendly and welcoming
Loved it . Cute relaxed and friendly.
