Avalanche Views - Peninsula Bay
Avalanche Views is a superb 4-bedroom property, located in Peninsula Bay, Wanaka. Looking out at breath-taking views of Lake Wanaka, Treble Cone ski field, along with the mountains and glaciers within the Mount Aspiring National Park.
This new house has a restful vibe with an open plan layout. The light and airy dining area is perfect for hosting dinners for friends and family. The house has 2 large living areas, one a media room perfect for the kids, the other a lounge with impressive local Otago Schist fireplace and magnificent lake and mountain views.
The house has 3 large warm and comfortable bedrooms and one smaller study/bedroom, comfortably accommodating 9 guests. Two of the bedrooms have a queen bed, one has a queen bed and set of bunks and the study/bedroom has a single and pull out trundler. All the bedrooms capture the lake and mountain vistas.
Just imagine yourself taking in the views from the sheltered outdoor entertaining area, whilst sipping a local pinot or craft beer. The exposed aggregate entertaining area is furnished with a large outdoor dining table and BBQ all ready for your enjoyment.
You can walk or ride to the lake, the Clutha River and the vineyards and great cafes to experience all that Wanaka has to offer. The house is a 10-minute stroll from the lake and has fantastic access to some of Wanaka's best walking and biking trails, including the popular Sticky Forest mountain biking tracks.
The ski fields: Treble Cone, Cardrona, Snow Farm are all a short distance away and there is great hiking to be found in the nearby Mt. Aspiring National Park and the Makarora valley.
