Pukehina Beach is one of the classic kiwi beaches - you unpack, walk the beach, have BBQ'S and enjoy making memories with your loved ones.

Fantastic spacious 4-bedroom house with an extra self-contained studio with amazing water views.

Perfectly suited for the ultimate kiwi holiday with superb indoor and outdoor living with a paved BBQ area and a large BBQ table. The large flat section is great for the kids to run around on and enjoy outdoor games and fun in the sun.

Spacious and modern open plan living with loads of windows to capture the sun and spectacular views. A gorgeous Granite kitchen with all the mod-cons, including a dishwasher, microwave, extra-large fridge freezer and a full-sized oven.

A Large bathroom with separate shower and bath, ideal for young children.

The studio outside is spacious and modern, and fully self contained with amazing beach views. Perfect for a larger group to allow space and retreat.

***Due to recent storms this beachfront property direct access has been eroded. DO NOT enter the beach via the sand dunes - please use the closest beach access 3 houses down from this property** This property is not fully fenced.

The property has plenty of off street Parking for vehicles and the boat or trailer etc.

Pukehina Beach is the place to come and relax, or a great base to do some exploring around the local region. Located 30 minutes from Mount Maunganui, 45km from Tauranga or a 2-hour drive from Hamilton not far to travel for a weekend getaway. We are also not far from the Old Forest School, and the local Estuary Events wedding venues.

Please bring your own beach towels - all other linen is provided. NB The total linen fee included in this listing is for 13 people. If you are booking for less than 13 people, please ensure you let us know so we can change the linen rate for the correct amount of people.


Bring your own food and toiletries - basic washing and kitchen items supplied.

The local dairy has some supplies with great fish n chips if you feel like taking a night off from cooking.
The new and popular "Monty's" Cafe in Pukehina is a must do during your stay.

The property only comfortably sleeps 11 people whereas the site says it sleeps 13. The sleeping arrangement in two of the bedrooms was different from what was advertised on the site, saying there were bunks available when in fact there were just beds. Apart from that the property was good, Great location and hosts were very helpful in helping us accommodate the extra people.

Great Kiwi bach right on the beach

Not flash accommodation so it was perfect for relaxing with children teenagers and dogs. The kitchen is big enough to have three people working in it and we found everything we needed. The separate sleepout is good for group members who need their own space or more sleep! The beach-side fence has been washed away, so it will be even better when the property is fully fenced, but we worked around that and had a fabulous holiday.

overpiced

Overpriced for state of house. Was told BBQ but it was only a small weber. Not much good for 10 of us. Light switches in funny places. no sockets or bedside lights in some bedrooms. no beater so how could I whip the cream for xmas day! Lots of spiders and bugs on arrival so obviously had not been cleaned recently. smelt musty. heaps of glasses but a bit short on plates, bowls and cutlery. Gift left for us was a nice thought tho.

Overpriced for below average Bach.

Good spaces for large family group and good location and view but disappointing for the price. Smelt extremely musty due to obvious large leak in bedroom ceiling above the bed. Could hardly see the view through the windows as there had been rain and the windows were covered in sea salt. Flooring, bathroom and decor is very tired. Living and dining room furniture is nice and kitchen is modern but beds are very basic and no blankets. We were told to bring duvets and supplied our own linen to avoid a large additional charge. A couple of cockroaches in the kitchen. Flies are a big problem and because the house was musty we had dozens and dozens inside after opening the house to air it. A rat in the hot water cupboard was a very unwelcome and scary surprise. Overall the house seemed like it needed a lot of TLC and a sort out in the cupboards. Everything was jumbled in. The laundry and storage area was messy too. We would definitely choose somewhere else when staying in Pukehina again. We realise this is a beachfront “Bach” but for the higher price were expecting something better.

Lovely place

We had a great time. Just a rew things. Outdoor furniture wasn't sturdy. The gate could do with some chicken wire on it. Wasn't a problem for us as our dogs stayed with the humans. Lovely place to stay. We all had a really good time. Nice place to chill.

Great spot right on thr beach

This property is situation right on the beautiful Pukahine beach which you have access to directly from the property. The place itself was a classic beach Bach/holiday home with plenty of beds available. It was resonably clean and tidy on arrival but we did noticed it lacked a few key items such as outdoor furniture, wine and bottle openers etc. Overall we were happy and it was a great spot.

Anzac weekend getaway

This place was great for us and the weather for April was epic. We had 5 children in our group aged 5-11 who lived on the beach. No WiFi is a big deal with young kids who are pooped from a day on the beach. The DVDs available were all empty and there was no batteries in the TV remote. Little tweaks to the technology would make this Bach better. If it had been raining we would have struggled. The house is unfussy and a classic beach bach but does have quite a pricetag for its simplicity. Great spot.

We had a fantastic stay here. The location is stunning and was perfect for relaxing. The bach isn't flash but great for large groups, sandy kids and dogs. Jody the property manager is excellent - very friendly, and went out of her way to help us with our dog.

We enjoyed our time here! its in a great location for a get away, right on the beach. Property manager was very helpful. Facilities were clean and well kept. Pictures don’t show how many people you could comfortably sleep at this house.

Bach was stunning, rooms were tidy and comfortable, spent most of our time out side or on the beach. No gas bottle for BBQ. Had to borrow the neighbors. Plugs next to beds in two bedrooms didn't work and no clocks working in house (didn't really matter tho as we weren't worried about time coz we were on holiday) outdoor shower is amazing! Loved our stay over all and neighbors were so friendly! No rubbish bags were provided at property so had to take our rubbish with us. Wouldn't definitely stay here again 😁👌
