If your looking for a peaceful, relaxing home from home place to stay You’ve Found It!
Enjoy our private lake to kayak, canoe, fish, swim or just sit by and soak up the tree surrounded fresh air.
I welcome all my guests to interact with me or not, I care that you get to experience a rejuvenating and much needed self care experience making a home for you to stay is what truly matters to me as your host.

So please feel free like I said to engage or not I respect peoples privacy and I understand that sometimes some people want to seclude from a busy life or engage from a secluded life either.

On arrival there was a dog that was scary for one of us. It was cold. The one heater overheated and woke us up in the middle of the night, The bath curtain rod fell getting out of shower and we couldn’t get back up. A microwave would have been welcome. It was hard to close the freezer drawer. Strips were coming off the main room. Otherwise basic. Basic would have been ok but also needed functionality and the lack was time wasting. Friday evening there were about 15 cars so a crowd late into the night occasionally waking us up with voices breaking through our sleep. Other than that….

Worst experience ever

We got there around 8:30 in the evening or we would have left 1/2 hr after we arrived The place was so dirty that we swept up two dustpans of hair, dirt and food particles The bathroom was uncleared and had a used towel hanging there toilet was nasty there was hair in the sheets so we borrowed a set of sheets from our daughter who had driven over with us in their van so we could have a clean bed to sleep in we slept there to the sounds of footsteps above us until 11:30 and smoke drifting through our room we left at 7:00 in the morning and contacted the owner to tell him that we couldn’t stay there and asked for a refund but could not get any response from him at all Wrote to him a second time and still haven’t gotten any kind of response from him We got a motel nearby for the second two nights of our stay on Vancouver island so it turned out to be an extremely costly vacation
