'La Maison' is a magnificent village house in the lovely center of Bonnieux, overlooking the Luberon valley.

The house, 110m2 on 2 levels, has been recently completely renovated and transformed into a spacious loft-style house, the decoration being done in a style that mixes design and locally sourced antiques. Upstairs you will find a living room with bay windows opening onto the terrace offering a magnificent view of the surroundings.
The entrance to the house is from a charming little courtyard. You enter the spacious main room (60 m²) with fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a large fireplace, a sitting area and a dining area. During the recent renovation, much of the house's original Provencal charm has been preserved: the floor is handmade terracotta and the living room retains its original ceiling with exposed beams.

On the same level, going up two steps, you will find the bathroom and the bedroom. The bathroom (10m2) has a large walk-in shower, a black marble sink and a toilet. The spacious bedroom (20m2) has a queen-size bed and a romantic bathtub on heels. Both bedroom and living room have air conditioning.

From the living room, wooden stairs lead up to the upper floor where you will find a sitting room with bay windows opening onto the terrace, giving the room an 'inside outside' feel. In summer, with the bay windows open, the room acts as a shaded part of the terrace, while on cool days, with the windows closed, the room offers cozy comfort with an outdoor ambience. The views from the terrace and sitting room are incredible, with spectacular sunsets to be enjoyed every evening.
The house is located in the center of the famous Provencal village of Bonnieux, where you will find many restaurants, bars and shops, all within easy walking distance. On Friday morning there is a very nice open air market with local products and souvenirs. From the village, hiking trails lead in all directions and Bonnieux is also an excellent starting point for cycling tours; (electric) bikes can be rented in the village.

The main tourist sites of Provence and the villages of Gordes, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Lourmarin, Goult, L'Isle sur La Sorgue etc are all nearby. You will find an 18-hole golf course near Saumane, 27 km away.
To swim it is the Etang de la Bonde or in La Sorgue at Fontaine de Vaucluse, both 30 minutes away, or the sea, Cassis, an hour's drive
