Yellowstone vacation

This house is perfect for a large family. It has lots of amenities and space. It is 22 minutes from the highway but we were prepared for that. The host responded really quickly to all questions and requests.

YellowStone/Grand Tetons

Beautiful home, wonderful wooded secluded area. Lots of space for my husband and I, our 2 daughters and their spouses, 1 granddaughter and my elderly mother. Very quick responses from Jamie when we had questions. Great that it had 2 washers and dryers. Comfortable sleeping areas for all to have away space. Great kitchen, fully with pots and pans. Only downside to the house(which is no fault of the owners), we did a lot of driving to see Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. I had in my mind when it said 45 mins to West Yellowstone that was not bad driving. You must remember that only gets you to the West Yellowstone gate, not to any real attractions in the park. Driving was great in the morning as we were able to see lots of wildlife, but by evening we were tired and ready to get back to the Cabin and had minimum of 2 hours of driving. I would highly recommend Cabin on the Rocks to any one as it was a great place to gather with a lot of outside and inside space. Love it.

Beautiful Cabin!

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was beautiful, very roomy and provided a ton of amenities! We especially loved the hammocks, hot tub, and ping pong table. Just be warned that the location is pretty remote - we didn’t realize how far out it was until we arrived! But we still had a wonderful time!

Beautiful cabin with everything you need

This cabin was amazing. We had two families of 4 and plenty of room for another family if needed. The cabin was well stocked with extra towels, all kitchen necessities, and leftover condiments in the fridge that was appreciated. The hot tub and fire pit was popular with our group and the owner even provided stuff for s’mores! This cabin sits about 50 min from the West Yellowstone entrance and 2.5 hours to Grand Tetons. We did both! Island park has tons of trails for side by sides and we rented them for the day from High Mountain Adventures. So much fun. We loved this cabin and would go back in a heartbeat.

Island Park, Idaho snowmobiling adventure

Property was fantastic, spacious rooms/areas for our party. The property is very close to exceptional snowmobile riding areas so there is no need to trailer from the cabin. Just get out and ride! Check in and check out was easy with no extra hoops to jump through. I would recommend cabin for large families and large friend groups. Very affordable priced and plenty of amenities.

My brother and I decided to purchase this property in 2019. My father and brother found the property in the middle of the winter...lots of snow. What we liked was all the trees. So beautiful and hidden from the road. Little did we know, the ground was covered with rocks. So many rocks! Too late to turn back, we began the year long digging out. Next thing we knew, we have a cabin and are so excited to share it with everyone.

Why they chose this property

Again, we love how secluded this property is. Five acres of trees, animals and quietness. It is a peaceful location, yet tons of activities. Island Park is full of outdoor sporting activities and lots of wildlife.

What makes this property unique

This property has ATV trails just beyond the roads into the community. The wildlife we have seen while building this cabin is awesome. And for those of you that live in a city, the clean air is refreshing.
