Worse Way To Start A Vacation

The property featured in the picture is not where we stayed at. This property was double booked and we were told we had to check in a day late. Come to find out, we couldn’t stay in the property at all because someone else booked it for the same time. So the host found us another place to stay, but it wasn’t up any cleaning standards to stay. We had to clean the tub, sinks, refrigerator, counters, etc. We had the whole place to ourself except for one room, which we wasn’t allowed to have. There were no fresh towels, pots, pans, etc. This was very much an inconvenience for us and very unprofessional for the host to not ensure we had our original booking. I’m never booking with this host again!

There were cockroaches. There appeared to be mouse droppings in the kitchen and mold around the bathtub. The ceiling fan in one bedroom is hanging by the wire. Overall, this was our worst VRBO experience.

Poor conditions

We were very surprised on the condition of the home. Poorly stocked . Not even a coffee maker. Thing were just thrown in the drawers. Cleanliness was very poor. We checked out a day early.

Pleasant neighborhood

Host was very kind and came through with items requested. Distance to the subway was not walkable. House of lacking a few of the essentials such as salt/pepper, charcoal for the grill/sharp knives for tableware.
