80th Birthday Celebration

What a wonderful weekend! The families gathered to celebrate our mother’s 80th birthday. This house was perfect! Large gathering space, wonderful kitchen and beautiful views! We spent the weekend cooking, playing games, and enjoying family! Would definitely go back. Host was very accommodating and always quick to respond to messages.

Great Lake House Getaway

Our stay at the house was great overall. This is the perfect lake house for a large gathering. The location and amenities are top notch. However, there were a few instances where the house could have been cleaner. The porch and dock were slippery when wet, ants in the kitchen sink on occasion and many cob webs around the exterior of the property. I will say as someone who has had lake properties these are issues that are common with homes close to the water.

Already planning our next visit!

We rented Liddle Lake House for the weekend with my husband’s friends (about 14 of us) and we had the best time! Absolutely fell in love with Lake Gaston and this house, we are already planning our next trip! Can’t imagine staying anywhere but this beautiful house that has absolutely everything we could need and so much more! Thank you!!

Our Holiday House

Thirteen members of my family gathered here to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The place is spacious and has gorgeous views. The kitchen is well stocked and roomy. It is a great place to spend family time together. Robert is very caring, considerate and responsive. We definitely recommend staying here and I imagine the summer months are even better.

Fun For All!

Robert was very friendly and quick to reply. The house has a lot of character and we appreciated the personal touches that Robert and his mom put into remodeling. The kitchen and dining areas were a hit! Very spacious as we have multiple "chefs" in the family. The wall of ceiling to floor windows in the sitting and dining areas made meal times especially enjoyable. The rooms were decent, though a few were smaller than we were hoping for, but thankfully we were able to shuffle some people around and made it work. Fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding were a hit. Even one of the grandpa's tried out paddle boarding! (Do remember to bring your own life jackets though.) At the end of the day, the seating area around the fire pit by the water was a favorite spot for the adults to unwind. Plenty of space for chilled beverages in the wine fridge was the icing on the cake.

Great Lake house for a big family!

We had a blast utilizing this charming lake house. Kitchen was impressive, open concept on the first floor and plenty of bedrooms for a multi family vacation. We would stay here again and again.

Family Refresh :)

Very spacious common areas inside and out made for a memorable trip! Excellent position on the lake, close to Food Lion, close to private ramp. Over-all a very comfortable and convenient stay. Would stay here again.

41st Birthday Girls Trip on the Lake

We enjoyed our stay on Lake Gaston. There was more than enough space for our party of 8 to spread out and not be in one another's way. There were sufficient bathrooms and showers to accommodate everyone with little wait times. Dining and outdoor sitting was plentiful to allow larger parties. The kitchen was well stocked with some items being a little more worn than others which can be expected in a rental property. We did find it necessary to do a little kitchen cleaning before getting started but we recognize everyone's level of clean varies. While exterior areas could have used a good spray down we didn't let dirt, webs, critters or crawlers rain on our "city girl" parade and enjoyed sitting out on the various decks basking in the sun and taking in the night breeze. We rented a pontoon for a day and were glad to be able to utilize the homes dock. The owner was very responsive both before and during our stay.

Perfect Spot!

Love this property and house! We had 5 couples with small children represent (but no kids, a needed weekend away!) and several couples, including us, definitely want to come back with our kids! Beautiful home which was clearly designed with the view in mind! Amazing out door spaces which totally take advantage of the perfect spot on the lake!

Perfect Lake House getaway

This is a classic “river house” that has been in the family and undergone renovations over time. It has all the fees of a great lake house. Highlights of house for our family were the kitchen and outdoor area with tv and fireplace. We enjoyed fishing by the dock with kids as well. Because of how the house is positioned on the main channel - the lake views are extensive throughout the house. Owners friendly and communicated well. I would recommend staying here for families that want to check out Lake Gaston.

Beautiful lake house weekend

We had a great weekend at the Lidde Lake House. The weather was a bit windy and cold but that’s to be expected at the end of October. We enjoyed the view of the lake so much, doing bonfires and found a pretty winery not too far from the house. The hearth room is so cozy and the kitchen is spacious and great for everyone gathering together to play games and talk. We had a great experience!

Girls Weekend Away

We had the best time at the Liddle Lake House for our girls weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect for a November weekend. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and even went fishing! The cozy covered fireplace area was put to good use! We would definitely go back!

Fall vacay

This was an incredible Mini vacation! All the family spending quality time together while fishing , s’mores over the fire and big family dinners ! The owners were absolutely wonderful to work with and were great to communicate with should we have a question . We have all said “same time next year ?” Loved every minute. ❤️

Fantastic Lake House!!

We had a fantastic time at your lake home! It had everything we needed inside and out and the outside porch and fireplace is such a great space! It has to be one of the best lots on the lake!
