Our Stay at the Royal Moose
We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Moose. The home slept our family of 21 quite well. We did have one major problem and that was the brown crickets that were quite plentiful. We killed at least 40 of them on the lower level in suitcases, in carpet, etc.
When you said earlier that the walk to the pool was uphill you weren't kidding. It's more than uphill. We enjoyed the pool and the young at heart weren't bothered too much by the walk. Our lodge was on a hill so parking brakes were always used.
We really appreciated that the lodge had two big tables so all 21 of us could sit around the table and eat at one time. The seven king beds were great and the bathroom in each bedroom was super. The washing machine and dryer on the main level and the lower level was also much appreciated. The dishwasher was great but as I told you after we got there, one of the racks comes off the track quite often. The two refrigerators were great and worked well except for the ice in the door. We made our own ice with an ice machine we had. We were a little short of silverware at first but more were brought to us right away. We do think you could replace some of the breakable and chipped plates with some unbreakable dinnerware.
One thing that we thought was a little strange is that the living area had a couch that held 3-4 and two easy chairs for a lodge that slept 24. It wasn't enough for 12 adults to sit around and visit.
We again thank you for the use of the lodge and your good service and communication. We had a great time in the Ozarks.
Great Location, Comfortable Accommodations
We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal, away from the rush of city traffic and close to the outdoor activities we were interested in. The pool was perfect for our family with many varied ages of grandchildren. We especially loved how comfortable the beds were.
We enjoyed our stay, a little further away from the pool than we expected, however the views were beautiful. Nice and quiet. A few things needed updated but over all it was a beautiful place!!

Property was as advertised. Bedrooms were large and spacious; beds were comfortable; full bath with each bedroom was a plus.
For a property rated to sleep 24, the gathering space was smaller than we anticipated. Living room seated 5, and lower level game room only had two pullout couches. Two porches gave our family space to break into smaller groups.
Second refrigerator helped offset smaller kitchen and lack of 'pantry' space (our groceries).
Easy access from Springfield bypassed Branson's notorious traffic. we had a minor hiccup on the electronic lock, but the owner responded within 30 minutes of our call.
All in all, it was a lovely stay, and we would consider it for future amily gatherings.
We had 7 couples stay at this property for a short vacation and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked and and everything was clean.
Every couple having their own bedroom with bath suited our group just fine.
When we arrived we discovered we had stayed at a sixx bedroom at the bottom of the hill 2 years before. Love the area in spite of the steep hills.
This is a wonderful place for a group gathering. We have utilized this house the past few years for a Christian Women's Conference that is held in Branson. We love that every master suite has it's own bathroom and there is plenty of room for us.
Silver Dollar City Amusement Park - This has been one of our favorite places to go in Branson for years. June and I went here on our honeymoon in 1979. It was here on one of our family vacations in the early 90's that June and I started dreaming of having a place where folks with families or groups could all stay together in one place without having to get multiple hotel rooms. We still enjoy the 1800's park theme and all the shows. Be sure to go on the train ride. Kids love the various rides. I told my children that when I was a kid in the 60's, there was a ride here that was pulled by mules. They didn't believe me until I was able to show them a picture.
Table Rock Lake - we love to get out on the lake in a boat. The grandchildren love to get pulled behind on the tube.
Indian Point Marina - They rent most any type of water vehicle from speed boats, pontoon boats, wave runners, and tubes
Sight and Sound Theater - This theater has what we feel are the best shows in Branson.
100+ live shows - So many good shows from Dixie Stampede, SIX, Pierce Arrow, Kirby the magician, and on and on.
White Water water park - lots of water slides, lazy river, wave pool, kiddie area. It's an all day affair.
Every year now, we have to take the grand kids to do the go-carts and laser tag on the strip, which is less than 10 minutes away.
