About MICHAEL C. ANTINUCCI
Hi we are Mike And Michelle Antinucci and are the managers of this farm. Florence Tucker, my Grandmother was born here. She lived and cared for the farm all her life. Her mother and siblings ran a vacation place in the 1930's. Flo married my Grandfather in 1976 and they later built the log home. They loved this place which is why it is still in the family and hope to keep it that way. We hope you enjoy yourselves. Mike

What makes this Lodge unique
A perfect place to unwind. From beautiful views to an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. Sit on the covered porch during a storm, watch the geese land in the pond, rabbits chasing each other along the hedge row, deer grazing and the sound of the owls and coyotes lulling you to sleep at night.

Peaceful country stay
The house was very clean and comfortable, well-supplied with linens and towels. Well-located for hiking, biking, and sight-seeing. Fantastic nearby farm markets were bursting with delicious local produce. We loved how peaceful and secluded it was. And for our family of city dwellers it was a treat to see the stars and the Milky Way at night, and all the animals: deer, groundhogs, hawks, owls, frogs, turtles, muskrats, raccoons, even a fox.
Great getaway away from it all
We had a wonderful time. It was myself and my three children and my boyfriend his son and two dogs. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. The kids loved going fishing down at the lake. We had many family whiffle ball games on all the property and the dogs loved all the space. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and spices and I was so happy they had dog bowls because I forgot to pack them. We hope to go.back next year. Also, Michael and Michelle were so helpful.
fabulous retreat out of the city!
This is my second stay and I hope to go many more times. Just what my friends (with 2 young girls) and my dogs and I needed. The pond and fireflies and birds! enough room inside and out to enjoy, relax and play. Thank you!!!!
Amazing location in Hudson Valley
My fiancee and I stayed here for a long weekend with a small group, and I have to say, this house is amazing. We loved being so close to all the cideries, wineries, and distilleries, as well as to the hiking options on the Shawangunk Ridge. The house and grounds are beautiful, well-kept, and very peaceful, and there was plenty of space for everyone to have their own bed and to cook and eat together. The owners were great about communicating and stopped by to make sure we had everything. We had a fantastic time and were very grateful to be able to stay here!
An Incredible Week
There were 12 adults, 1 child and 1 dog. Everyone had a place to sleep comfortably, there were plenty of blankets and towels, the kitchen equipment worked well sand the house was clean. The porch was wonderful, and walking and running in the meadow and at the pond was lovely. The fishing was alright, but stocking it would be even better. We loved the history of the home and grounds too.
Clean, comfy and relaxing ...
After staying in many lake houses over the years, we finally found one that ticks all the boxes: clean house, comfy beds w nice linens, plenty of good towels, basics like dish soap and hand soap, kitchen w lots of equipment and spices, a spacious deck with beautiful views, and a private pond where my husband spent hours fishing. If the weather had been nicer, the rest of us would've been down there, too.
We enjoyed exploring the large property with our dog, then cooking on the outdoor grill and eating outside. The house is plenty roomy and is just 10 mins to a shopping center where you can find food, alcohol, sporting goods and more.
Michael was very responsive when we had a minor issue and left his cell number in case anything else came up (it did not). We'll definitely be back!
Pro Tip: Don't rely on Waze to find the cabin. Google Maps and remembering the name Dixie Farm (from another reviewer) saved us. Also, be prepared to drive on rugged terrain to get from the main road to the cabin. It's all part of the charm, esp because there is no doubt that you are truly away from it all:-)
