About this property

Welcome to "Lost Shaker of Salt"! Relax in our quiet neighborhood on the front porch rockers or spacious fenced in backyard. Our home has 2 bedrooms with queen beds plus a living room with a queen sleeper sofa and 2 full bathrooms. All inside linens will be provided. Enjoy coffee in the morning with the Keurig or tea with the electric kettle. A fully equipped kitchen, with family size refrigerator, stove oven, pots & pans, cutlery and dishes are provided. Washer and dryer are available during your stay. After a long day at the beach, fishing or boating enjoy the hot and cold outside shower. Grill your favorite steak or seafood on the gas grill provided in the back yard. For your entertainment, WIFI is provided, Alexa will play your favorite tunes, the TV's stream Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime (using your account) or access local TV channels. On rainy days, board games are available in the living room. The cottage is a 2 minute walk to the intercoastal water way; 6 blocks from Veteran's Park, a few blocks from the boat drop, 5-8 minute drive to several beach accesses, 5 minutes drive to Publix grocery store, 5-10 minutes from restaurants, bars and ice cream shops.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptionally clean and cozy cottage

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here while my extended family members stayed at several other properties. Compared to the dozen other properties I’ve stayed at over the last 15 years at Oak Island, our stay here was the cleanest we’ve ever encountered. New appliances, convenient amenities that made the stay feel more at home, and prime location on a cute, safe street centrally located to all my favorite destinations. This place is a rare gem on the island for the price.

Absolutely amazing place

We loved our stay here! The house was amazing, owners sent detailed messages before our stay and even let us know someone was coming to change a filter. House has great amenities, very spacious, and so cute! Great location to the intercoastal waterway and the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We had a great stay at the Lost Shaker of Salt, located in a nice quiet neighborhood about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach and just a few minutes to the intercoastal waterway. The house was very clean and just perfect for my wife and I to have a nice long holiday weekend get-away. The owners were great and easy to communicate with. Will stay here again! Many thanks!

Best place to stay at Oak Island

My family and I stayed here last year and had such a wonderful experience, we booked it again this year. Both times the house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the close driving distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The best thing about the house is truly the owners. They do a great job making sure you have a great experience. I have been very impressed with them both times I have booked. You won't regret staying here for your vacation.
