Escape to the mountains and step back in time at the Retro Retreat! Our renovated 1975 mobile home features a balanced mix of modern comforts with a touch of days gone by. Nearly 1,600 square feet on one level with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and pet friendly. The home is approximately one mile off the highway, just south of Wapiti on a private, well-maintained gravel road. The road and driveway is suitable for any vehicle and perfect for a leisurely stroll in the cool of the day. The elevated location ensures unobstructed views of Wapiti Valley where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine while watching the Shoshone River wind it's way down to Buffalo Bill Reservoir, backed by Rattlesnake and Cedar Mountain. Or wake up to the stunning geography of Jim Mountain and Logan Mountain to the North.
The open living space is perfect for gathering and features plenty of natural light and views. The kitchen is fully renovated with soft-close drawers, a refrigerator with water and ice, dishwasher, microwave, oven, standard coffee pot, Keurig, crock pot, and everything else you'll need to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The dining table has seating for eight, or enjoy the simplicity of our breakfast bar with seating for four. The house is serviced by forced-air heat and central air conditioning. The master bedroom has a separate air conditioner, temperature control, and ceiling fan. We provide all the bedding, towels, pillows, and other necessities.
Most rooms have a smart TV. The living room includes a DVD player and movie library. Our wireless internet is capable of streaming TV or movies on multiple devices at once. We have a classic arcade system with over 600 classics like Ms. Pacman, Centipede, Galaga, and 1942. Some board games and playing cards are also available. The property includes a strong cell phone signal throughout, enabling you to maintain contact with the world back home or share your memories of #retrotreat on social media!
