The house provides a private back yard patio filled with lush landscaping and a gas fireplace for chilly nights. There is also a wood burning fireplace indoors next to the newly remodeled farmhouse kitchen. Siesta Key village is a bike ride away and offers a variety of restaurants, bars and shops to enjoy! Great Siesta Key Stay!

Our stay at Siesta Key Cottage was perfect in many ways. Kathryn and Dean were very attentive and accommodating. We love to cook and the kitchen included a commercial grade stove which was great to cook with. Kathryn purchased a Lodge Dutch oven for our use during our stay and even gifted it to us! The backyard patio and outdoor shower were highlights for us and the desk was perfect for working remotely. We absolutely fell in love with the neighborhood which was filled with friendly, dog loving people. The walk to the beach was short and access was easy. We recommend the property and hope to stay again in the future.

Cozy, rustic, beachy, clean

We loved this rental, it reminded us of our house back home. Very cozy and beach rustic. Very clean and the hosts were perfect, with much attention to detail and going out of their way to meet our needs. . We look forward to our next stay there. It was about an 8 min walk to the beach (access 11, which is very close to the public beach). The weather was cool when we were there so we enjoyed the fire pit and wood burning fireplace as well.

Great Location Charming cottage

The house was fantastic and a great location. Maybe 8 minute walk to beach or town. Great outdoor space and loved the fire pit. very private and welcoming. Owners were a breeze to work with. We will highly recommend this house.

The Doughertys were born and raised in Sarasota, FL! It is a wonderful place to relocate or visit! We have 3 amazing children and live in Palm Island. Dean is a Captain at Mote Marine Laboratory and Kathryn teaches Special Education at Riverview High School.
