It was “MAGIC” when I discovered this town years ago. Beautiful sunrises right here on the Chesapeake Bay & glorious “moonshine “ at night. The Normandy Cottage is one block off the bay and close to the Beach/boardwalk, shops, restaurants, playground, fishing pier, charter fishing & boat & jet ski rentals & ICE CREAM! The cottage is newly completely renovated for your comfort and enjoyment.

Perfect location!

Lovely property. Clean and tidy. Plenty of spare towels and linen. Loved the thoughtful touches for families like laundry hampers in each bedroom and kids books and games in one of the back bedroom cupboards, some plastic plates and bowls in the dish cupboard. Beach pass included thankfully, prices for out of town guests to access the beach are super steep! Restaurants, bakery, beach all just a block away. Perfect location for families wanting a relaxed getaway. Water was full of jellyfish and stingrays so not the best for swimming! Thankyou Norma we loved our stay.

Excellent Experience

Our first trip to the Chesapeake Bay area and we were thrilled with the Normandy Cottage. Clean and plenty spacious enough for the two of us. A 1-2 block walk to multiple good restaurants, bar, shops, and the pier. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay at the Normandy Cottage. The property was very clean and modern. The kitchen was massive and furnished with everything you could need. We enjoyed walking around the charming town of North Beach to a bakery/coffee shop, restaurants, beach, boardwalk, and a beautiful town park. There was a little mix-up about who was to send us the check-in procedure, but that was quickly sorted out. One of the bedrooms had a thin plastic mattress cover that would get loose during the night and end up krinkling up in the middle of the bed. Needs a fabric cover. That’s our only suggestion. Everything else was perfect and we hope to return someday soon.
