About this property

Mountain Modern cozy cabin (condo) that sleeps six in Whitefish Montana. Five minute drive to the slopes, ten minutes to downtown Whitefish, 32 miles from Glacier National Park. Enjoy our cabin year round - in the winter relax next to the cozy fire at the end of your winter sports day or soak in the large communal hot tub, in the summer, spring and fall enjoy peace and quiet, explore Glacier National Park and other Whitefish area attractions, hike, swim, fish, or shop and dine in downtown.

Two-story end unit in a triplex building (Cascade Building) within Ptarmigan Village, very quiet - last building on the street before the pond, and within easy walking distance to the indoor pool and hot tub (see map in photos). Recently purchased and redecorated in a modern mountain decor you'll love! Large balcony, fireplace (fall/winter/spring only), a portable pack 'n play and other extras make this a great family favorite - such as books, games and DVDs.

Two full baths with tub/shower and well out-fitted kitchen with a table that seats 5. 55-inch flat-screen TV for your streaming service, DVD player, and soundbar.

Two bedrooms with premium sheets and freshly laundered duvet covers on the main beds.

Please note: This condo requires climbing stairs, 33 steps to the front entrance, and spiral staircase inside. Steps to the entrance may be slick and/or icy. A/C is limited to a portable unit in the upstairs area only. 4 Wheel or All Wheel Drive is necessary in the winter months from November through March and possibly October and April - you are in a mountainous area with steep terrain.

Notes: We can't guarantee internet service since that is not within our control. Coffee and other consumable items are provided for up to 3 days - guests for longer stays will need to re-stock these items. $5 per night extra guest fee for more than 4 guests (per guest). $75 or 3% of booking cancellation fee, whichever is greater (to cover credit card fees)..

Ideal place in the Whitefish area

If you are looking for a perfect place to spend your time in NW Montana, this is it. Nestled amongst a pine and juniper forest, this condo has everything. Not only the location is privileged, on the hills outside Whitefish, but the owner has taken the time to equip and stock this condo with just about everything you may need. The place is ample, furnished with comfi beds and other furniture, great deck, parking, laundry etc. Sheila is on top pf things, and checking with you for any kind of unexpected issues. The place is elegant, has wifi and cable and plenty of amenities. We were immensely satisfied with the place and highly recommend it. Oh, plus I consider it a bargain!!!!

Glacier National Park Vacay

My family of 6 stayed in this home July 2023. It is great location to experience the towns of whitefish, Kalispell, Bigfork and the National park. Sheila and her crew are very organized and go above and beyond in the accommodations. The kids were able to fish in the pond and swim indoors and outdoors (although outdoor pool was very cold). We also took advantage of the private beach on whitefish lake, which was beautiful. It is a ten min drive to the top of the mountain resort where we took advantage of the activities there. We will definitely stay here again and would be great for ski season.

Great condo in a beautiful setting

We enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect on the side of Big Mountain. We loved being nestled in the woods. The views from the road up to the condo were spectacular! My kids enjoyed swimming in the indoor and outdoor pools and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The condo had everything we needed!

I love long walks on the beach (truly - I lived in Panama City Beach Florida for 25 years!), live music, cocktails with friends, hikes in the mountains and my border collie and kitty. I moved to Washington state from Panama City Beach and fell back in love with the mountains and a man named Scott, but I couldn't give up my special beach - so I just bought Emerald Waters Escape at the Majestic Beach Resort! I closely followed with a condo at the Summit with my son, and another with husband Scott. My second home in Bremerton Washington (on the Olympic Peninsula- a beautiful, wild, amazing place!) is part four of Escapes by Sheila, and we are purchasing our fifth in Whitefish Montana! Please enjoy them as much as I do!
