What a gem of a find! We wanted somewhere relatively near to the ferry port and the house was perfect for our stay - 2 couples, 1 single and a 4 month old baby. It was big enough to not feel that we were on top of each other but also a family intimate space. We were blessed with fantastic weather so made full use of the pool, the barbecue and the little nook with the hammock.
The house was incredibly well equipped - everything you could possibly want during your stay, lots of different places to sit so we ate inside and outside, just fabulous.
We didn't go out and about a lot but can very much recommend Bayeux - beautiful little town to wander around in, lots of nice cafes and restaurants, and of course the Bayeux tapestry and Cathedral which are both worth a visit, plus a really good hypermarket. We didn't really enjoy the village and beach at Arromanches as it is very crowded and touristy and pricey - especially to park and if its high tide, not much to do. But if you are interested in the D-Day history I guess worth a visit.
Mostly we just enjoyed being at the house and having a chill-out holiday! We would love to go back sometime.
