About this property

This three bedroom, two bath home is in the heart of historic downtown Sheboygan. It is within walking distance to almost anything you would want to do in Sheboygan. Beach, pier, shops, restaurant, river. Also close to the world renowned Whistling Straits golf course, and more!
Built in 1903, the two story home boasts all the charm of an old home, while also feeling updated and cozy. There are three good size bedrooms upstairs. One with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with a set of twin bunk beds plus a single twin bed with trundle bed underneath. There is one full bath upstairs, and one full bath on the main level. Washer and dryer in the basement. Sit on the oversized front porch and enjoy a cup of coffee while enjoying the peaceful neighborhood.

Lovely Home with Loads of Charm

Carefully renovated home with charm and amenities for a lovely stay. Great location in quiet residental neighborhood close to the Lake and all that Sheboygan has to offer.

Girls weekend

31st annual girls shopping trip. Loved that we were near downtown and the lake. We admired the character of the home. Very comfortable and cozy. Owners were quick at responding and welcoming us to their home away from home.

Great house!

Loved staying at this house. Very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of puzzles and games. Perfect location. Easy walking distance to both the lake/beach and 8th Street with lots of shops and restaurants. And Kohler, with all it's amenities, was less than 15 minutes away (driving). Mike and Cassie were great. They answered all our inquiries promptly. Couldnt have asked for nicer hosts. I would highly recommend this property.

Fun in Sheboygan

This is a super cute cottage with everything you need for a visit to the Sheboygan area! We stayed two nights. Neighborhood is quiet and full of other characterful old houses. Walking distance to downtown, the lake and close to everything else, including 15 min. to Kohler. Really clean overall, nice linens and towels, stocked kitchen and coffee area, and overall furniture/decor is excellent! Can’t ask for much more! Oh, and really good and friendly communication with the hosts! Would stay again.

We were both born and raised in the Mid-west, but have lived all over the country for the past decade until we decided to settle back in Madison, WI in 2018. We have five kids and a super cute mini golden-doodle, and our favorite thing to do as a family is travel and explore new places. We love spending time outdoors in all seasons. Because of our love for traveling along with the large size of our family, we learned very quickly that it was not feasible for us to stay in hotels. We started using VRBO to find short term vacation rentals for all of our trips, and we have always had wonderful experiences doing so. That is what led us to purchase and host our own vacation rental... so that we can offer our guests the same amazing experience that we always look for when we travel with our own family.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Sheboygan accidentally when we decided to make a quick stop there on our way home from a camping trip in the Upper Peninsula in 2019. The first time we drove through, we knew we loved it immediately. Lake Michigan is one of our favorite places, which was originally the big draw for us. But we quickly found out that Sheboygan has SO much more to offer! There are so many unique shops and restaurants, wonderful parks and trails, a world renowned golf course, the Sheboygan River, Kohler Andrae State Park, great Farmers Market, surfers that come from all over to brave the frigid temps for winter surfing (!), beautiful historic homes and architecture, and so much more!
