I'm not a complainer but....

I've stayed at plenty VRBOs and I'm not that much of a nitpicker, but when I've had enough of a bad experience with a VRBO, I will comment. The Sunstone is advertised as a cute retreat with primary colors that put you in the mind of orange creamsicles. We stayed in the upstairs unit. The decor is cute. I will give it that much. But NO HOT WATER and NO HEAT are major issues! Plus the vomit smell from the carpet in the stairwell leading to the unit. There were no washcloths provided. When I asked the host about them, he referred to two makeup cloths in a basket in the bathroom. I was staying with my two daughters so I guess we were to share the two makeup cloths between the three of us! With that lackluster response, I was sure asking for hot water and heat for a 43 degree night would get me nowhere with the host. Luckily there was the stove and an unusual looking portable heater in the faux fireplace to keep us warm. We only stayed two nights. There was someone staying in the lower unit working on the house. Maybe with more repairs and remodeling, the place could be nice again. But I will never stay there again.

Home away from home

Very clean and located in a good neighborhood. I needed a pet friendly location for a quick trip for my daughters college graduation. Highly recommend.

Stayed for a week. About a 15 min drive to main campus Cleveland clinic.Couch wasn’t comfy.Rest of apartment was as described. Worked well for our needs Awesome hot shower and pressure.Brita In fridge which was a nice touchNeighborhood just loud House is at a 3 way stop sign…if a light sleeper front bedroom isn’t for you. Nice private driveway with downstairs tenant

We had a great time!

Everything was as advertised, only had to drive a few minutes to get everywhere we wanted to go! We ended up not cooking very much, but I cook for a living and the kitchen is very well equipped, which is a major perk for me!

BED BUGS

We stayed for 2 nights for a medical appointment at Cleveland Clinic. We had an early flight out and woke up with bites. We communicated this with the owner. Only soap provided. Dispenser in the shower doesn't work. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable. 2 snacks provided and 1 was out of date. Pet urine smell in dining and living room areas. Bathroom sink was stopped up which we fixed. Pluses-kitchen well equipped but no ice trays. Good location, no noise. TV has several streaming selections. Lots of towels provided.

Cute Place!

We really enjoyed the apartment. It was so close to everything, and the perfect size for our group. The price was right and the host was easy to get a hold of. The orange was a bonus, as we were there for a football game!!

Great spot, but heating didn't work

This was a great home base for our eclipse activities, but the central heating did not work, so it was chilly. The host eventually stopped responding about how to fix it. Given we were running two electric space heaters non-stop, we also noticed that the duplex does not have smoke detectors. In addition, the couch does not fold out into a King bed and the shampoo and conditioner pumps in the shower were empty. It's a good spot and many of these issues are easily fixable.

Wonderful little place!

We had a pleasant experience staying at the little orange house! My two year old was very tickled by the cute decor in every room. The kitchen was well stocked and there were even little snacks and water bottles waiting for us when we arrived. Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful apartment!

Place was five stars, Nicely decorated, clean with everything needed, located close to a lot of things to do, big city environment took some getting used to but no bad experience with our stay. Lots of Fun had.

Me Husband stayed here got a-little break away from home . Surprisingly he had a chef come cook us dinner here . Well maintained properly overall. Minor issue with water but the host is very responsive and it only took about a 10min fix. Will rent again

Awesome trip and experience

This unit was exactly as pictured. The host was amazing, so easy to contact and work with. We got to the unit early and got a quick response about checking in and he let us have a later check out time. Everything was super clean, the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely recommend this place if you're planning a trip to Cleveland.

Loved the place

I wish I had known in advance that the washer/dryer was out of commission but that was minor. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but we had no issues luckily! Otherwise I had a wonderful experience. The owner had amazing communication and was very pleasant to work with. The decor inside was adorable and overall we loved the place.

Cleveland Trip

The property was extremely clean and just as pictured. Our check-in was delayed unexpectedly by 2 hours and I wish I had received notice that this was behind, as we could have planned our event timeline to adjust. I did call the owner, and he was did answer immediately and explain why we could not get into the property. We checked out before 11AM as we agreed to.
