Great stay next to a nice village
Wonderful stay, the apartment is at the end of a dead end street - in a very quiet neighborhood. It is only a 5 minute walk to the center of Vals-les-Bains. Small supermarket around the corner, and a Lidl a little further on. A public swimming pool and a Spa are only 10-minute walk away. But you can also choose to find a quiet spot along the river. In the area are beautiful places to visit.
The apartment is recently refurbished, clean and spacious. The hostess Aurélie is very nice and helpful. She doesn't speak English, but the Google Translate app works wonders. You look out over a valley. That is beautiful, but on the veranda you are somewhat bothered by the traffic that drives through the valley. Inside the apartment it is quiet. The apartment is fully equipped (towels, bed linen, hob, oven/ microwave, washing machine) and provides the basic necessities (pepper, salt, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc.). The TV only has French channels. The veranda is spacious and there is a covered part where the outdoor dining table is located.
Great stay for people who want to be just outside a nice village.
