Simple, clean.
The appartment was clean and the owner and his wife very friendly. The swimmingpool was okay, looked as in the picture. The boiler for hot water for the shower was not to big (30 liter) and it was broke so we could only take showers for two minutes. After we told the owner, he fixed it. So that was great and good service. They made an effort to make our stay comfortable and make sure we got what we needed (like sheets, towels etc.)
But.... there were also some things we didn't like about this place (sorry, there were). The bed was very hard, we could feel the riffle through the mattress. Therefor we slept on the couch in the livingroom, which wasn't to good either (we both had backpain and there were no curtains so the light came in and woke us up very early in the morning). The shower was very, very, very small (not even two tiles (± 50 cm) wide), so with each movement the showercurtain sticked to your body. And the toiletbrush was really really filthy.....
And last: inspite of the quiet surroundings, the playground next to the house (just the other side of the road) wasn't used only by the owners children but by all children form the village. As playing children tend to do they scream and shout and make all kinds of other loud noises. Every morning and every night, so breakfast and diner was always surrounded by the noise of screaming children instead of the relaxing holidaysound off crickets. We are very much aware of the fact that this might not be a problem for lots of people, but for those who do like their silence to relax (like we do) it's good to know this, so you have a choice to not go here. If you don't mind the sound of playing children it is no problem offcourse.
All in all this apartment was our least experience with homeaway, via which we have rented for many years now.
Certainly not bad, but definitely not good either.
