view eclipse
We rented this to view eclipse. There was 9 of us (73, 47, 38, 36, 17, 15, 8, 6, 3). House was lovely, porch had excellent view of White River. The teenagers spent a few minutes wading in River (very cold water and swift current with limited access). Very remote (which we wanted to view eclipse), and last mile to house is very rough gravel road and could be a problem if it rains. About 30 minutes to Mountain View (Ozark Folk Center) or Blanchard Springs Caverns so lots to do. Also, a couple of float companies provide floats that pass the house. Enjoyed it very much.

Relaxation!
Our family had a fabulous weekend vacation and got some much needed relaxation! We drove all the way from Texas and got to enjoy the beautiful sights of Arkansas. The first night in the cabin was interesting as we witnessed our first "intense" Arkansas mountain storm. Thankfully the cabin blocked most of the noises and my children played the games provided without realizing there was a major storm outside! The cabin is on secluded property but there are multiple cabins and RVs set up very close together on a strip of land. We had hoped to be a little more private and secluded by the listing description but it was still a fabulous trip. No fish caught but the views from the cabin made up for the lack of fish! Thank you for our first spectacular visit to Arkansas!!!

Worst stay of my life-infact i didnt stay-NOT SUCLUDED
Would have given 0 stars if allowed. Host is disrespectful to say the least. To start out you should be aware the host recommends you tresspass on neighboring lots to fish. This cabins river bank is covered in bamboo. All the open photos you see are neighboring lots. The listing indicates there is a stone fire pit there is not. There is not a driveway. The road to get to this place is more like a rutted out 4 wheeler trail. You have to do under dangerous railroad track the grate thats covering the whole in the concrete roadway bounced up when i drove over it. The other side of the roadway is also falling out and uncared for. Upon arrival i went to the bank and reached out to the owner. She advised me to go left to fish. When i did so the cabin renters on the next cabin over approvached via boat and asked us to move because we where on there bank fishing.(understandable). I was at this cabin roughly 5 hours and notified the owner that i left and requested a refund. She has yet to do anything other than patronize me for not calling her (there is no cell service at the cabin only wifi). The neighboring cabin was visibly upset we fished there bank (even though they wasnt even on property at the time) they flashlight our cabin and let off multiple shots. We caught them multple time looking through our windows and any time we stepped outside they flashlight us. I did not feel safe and left the property! Vrbo does not protect its travelers. There is more but space here is limited.
