On the edge of a small village, close to the Burgundy canal, this former 13th century priory has been carefully renovated. Here, you'll enjoy a rejuvenating stay in a refined setting surrounded by authentic nature. A 10,000 m2 garden surrounds the house, with an unobstructed view over the valley. A chapel, no longer consecrated, and a bread oven adjoin the main house, but are not open to travelers. The entrance is into a large room, opening onto a sunny terrace where you can enjoy a drink. A functional kitchenette adjoins the dining room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the beds are new and large. Ideal for a get-together with friends or two families.
The medieval town of Semur en Auxois is 10km away. Here you'll find small food shops, large supermarkets, a Sunday morning farmers' market, gourmet restaurants... everything the Côte d'Or region is famous for. In fine weather, Lac de Pont offers a swimming area and a leisure center (kayak, paddle, pedal boat...). Walk or cycle along the Canal de Bourgogne, from spring to autumn, starting from the house. A little further afield (1h by car), lovers of fine wines can discover the vineyards of the Côte de Nuit. And Dijon, the historic capital of the Burgundy region. Everything you need for a rejuvenating and cultural stay.
