A modern, spacious 1-bedroom container home in Nosara, Costa Rica. Enjoy jungle views from your private kitchen and bathroom, as well as a shared pool and laundry facility.

The La Sirena guest apartment is on the first floor, with a private patio right in front of the pool. Furnished with a king-size bed and a pull-out sofa bed, this unit sleeps two comfortably. Perfect for a couple or a small family.

Club Marina is a boutique rental property with three container homes, around a shared saltwater pool. Our property was built sustainably, with upcycled materials.

Club Marina exists to provide luxurious hospitality—space, food, and experience—for design-oriented wanderers looking for a curated experience of Costa Rica. We provide personalized amenities and comfortable, stylish accommodations.

Our private chef is available to cater breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Chef Lindell can cater your stay or provide one-off meals as needed. Our organic, locally sourced menu shows off the vegetation and cuisine of Costa Rica. Our food is health-conscious, leaning plant-based, gluten-free, and vegan, with options to add tofu, chicken, or fish.

We are a four-minute walk to the beautiful Playa Pelada beach and La Luna Restaurant. From Club Marina, walk via the beach or trails to Nosara's incredible dining, nightlife, shopping, and nature. Pelada is a quiet, secluded area. Our property backs up to protected conservation land, so you’ll be in a private, peaceful space. Some days there are howler monkeys climbing through the trees (they can be loud, but they're harmless).

Nosara is located in one of the world’s five Blue Zones, small geographic areas where people live the longest, healthiest, happiest lives. The Nosara beaches are a protected refuge for sea turtles. You can enjoy this beautiful, preserved beach. Suntan, surf, and swim—and seasonally, see baby sea turtles!

Peaceful in Pelada

Andie's place is heaven on earth, we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Although the home isn't located in the busier area of Nosara, Playa Guiones, it's location is still perfect. You are walking distance to several really yummy restaurants, like La Luna, and the tranquility is worth it. We spent several afternoons, post morning surf, relaxing poolside, watching monkeys go to and fro from our porch. The pool was heavenly and the perfect temperature for swimming - not too cold - I hate cold water! We walked to Playa Guiones every single day, several times a day in fact. It is a ten to fifteen minute trot through the jungle to get to the other restaurants, surf shops and grocery stores. You will see plenty of flora & fauna along the way including monkeys and CR raccoons. Once you hit the beach the breeze is lovely and the trail system will help you connect to the different parts of town. We walked the path at dusk to dinner but always took a TutTut home. We rented a car and aside from getting to and from the airport, it wasn't necessary. Almost everything is walkable from Andie's place. Our favourite grocery store was the Organic Market on the main street and you could easily take a TutTut since it's a little further out. The place itself was divine. The water pressure was good. The kitchenette had your basics, nothing fancy, but we didn't cook our meals either. The bed was super comfy and the AC worked wonders at night. While we were there we lost power one night but it came back on fairly fast. We also had a small water issue, where someone else broke a waterline outside of the property on a construction site, & Andie was fast to act to ensure that we would have what we needed to get by. By the time we got back to the unit everything was turned back on anyway. Andie's book of recommendations was also fantastic. She has everything you need in there for the perfect stay, including a driver when you are too lazy to walk home after dinner. Lastly, Andie and her property manager Madeleine, were extremely responsive and honestly just a delight to get to know. If we were permanent transplants we would have loved to be their friends. If this unit is available when you want to stay don't wait BOOK IT!!! It should be mentioned my partner and I are youngish and active so walking isn't an issue for us. If you have bad knees, don't walk regularly at home and find the heat difficult, still stay at Andie's but rent a car to get around.

Secret Oasis

We had a great experience. It was a bit hard to find, but once there, we really enjoyed it. The place was super clean. Bed was very comfortable. Hosts very pleasant. Pretty close of a beautiful beach and Luna Restaurant (which we ate three times). I would stay here again.

I grew up in Texas, but spent a decade in Chicago before a family vacation brought me to Costa Rica—and changed the course of my life. I fell in love with the culture and energy of Nosara and quickly began making plans to spend more time here. On my third visit, I purchased a piece of land where I could hear the ocean's waves. From there, I purchased three older shipping container homes, had them deconstructed, moved onto my property, and complete renovated. And so, Club Marina was born. I have a passion for hospitality, food and beverage, and creating exceptional experiences for people. I hope to help you experience this stunning place I call home.
