"Breathtaking View" is located in the prestigious Legacy Mountain Resort. The Resort is conveniently located about 13 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. And just 8 miles to the Pigeon Forge Parkway. As you ascend Legacy Mountain, take note of the beauty all around you. The views in Legacy Mountain are in our opinion some of the best views of Mount LeConte and the Smoky Mountains.

"Breathtaking View" has something for all ages. There is so much to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that you will need to come back again and again. But, do try to schedule some time to relax on one of the two spacious decks overlooking those beautiful Smoky Mountains.

"Breathtaking View" includes modern amenities such as:

When you arrive at your Smoky Mountain Vacation Home, you will be greeted by a beautiful log cabin with sensational curb appeal. And once you enter the door, you will be wowed by the gorgeous interior. You will enter your home away from home through the galley kitchen that has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and custom cabinetry built by the owner.

The open floor plan of the living room and dining room will have you enjoying your Smoky Mountain Vacation from your first moments. The tongue and groove walls and ceilings really are the perfect backdrop for the beauty of this cabin. There is a rustic yet elegant wood dining room table that seats 6-8.

"Breathtaking View" is the perfect place to reconnect with family and friends. You may choose to challenge your family members to a game of pool in the lower-level game room. Or let your children play with the gaming system so you can relax on the deck. The hot tub is a great way to end a fun filled day exploring the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area.

There is a private king master suite on each of the two main floors. There is a loft with two twin beds and a futon serving as a third bedroom.

This cabin is located on a dead-end street which means less traffic and less distractions from your leisure time.

Legacy Mountain Resort has an amenities center with a fireplace. There is no fire pit at the cabin. You are welcome to bring your own wood and have a fire up at the amenities center.

The distance to local attractions by the map on VRBO is in miles "As a crow flies".

There is an additional charge for any adult in your party over 6 adults.

Quick trip for anniversary. Communication was excellent and all listings were accurate! Lots do in the cabin itself (my husband loved the arcade game!). Overall great experience!

Views are amazing!

We have been to the Smokies many times but this was by far the best views we have ever experienced! The cabin had everything we needed. We loved our stay here and, hopefully, we will be back.

Amazing Mountain Getaway

Not only is the property the perfect size, but it has the perfect views. We walked up to the peak and I think our cabin had some of the best veiwing overall. Location was perfect for doing relaxing stay in days and going out and adventuring in nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Right next to Smokey Mountain National Park. I would have stayed forever if allowed. There was enough kid friendly fun in the cabin and space to allow adult relaxation. We plan to return if we come back to the area!

The owners have taken great care of their paradise in the Smokies. The bed on the lower level has been hand made by the owner with reclaimed barn wood from Ohio. There are drawers on both sides for their guests to utilize. The kitchen cabinets have also been hand made. It is a beautiful multi colored grain with soft closes. Take note of the picture in the living room that labels the different mountain ranges in the view. The owner's sister made this photo for the owners. Supper neat.

Why they chose this property

While at Breathtaking View, you will enjoy panoramic views of Mount LeConte and the Great Smoky Mountains. The workmanship of the cabin is exceptional.

The cabin has many amenities for your entertainment. Downstairs you will find a great room with a pool table, a 46" flat screen TV, a system with old school arcade games. The hot tub is on the lower-level deck for relaxing after all of the day's activities in the Smokies.

When it is time to prepare your meals, the cabin has a full-size kitchen that has everything you need to prepare your meal - except the food. The modern appliances and well laid out design of the galley style kitchen make mealtime an easy and enjoyable experience.

Why not enjoy your meal at the dining room table, which has seating for six, while taking in the vistas through one of the cabin's many large floor to ceiling glass windows.

There are about 9 steps leading to the front porch. Once inside, you will have everything you need all on one level. Except the hot tub. The living room, dining room, kitchen and main level king master suite are all on the main level. Plus, a large deck for your viewing pleasure.

What makes this property unique

Breathtaking View is located high up the mountain at Legacy Mountain Resort.

As you enter Legacy resort and drive up the mountain, you will feel a sense of excitement. It will not be a frightened excitement caused by the roadway. The roadway in Legacy Mountain resort is wide, paved and easy to navigate. The excitement you feel will be caused by the multi-level vistas all around you.

If it's a relaxing vacation you are after, Breathtaking View can deliver. You can do as much in the area as you wish or you can just spend your time on the decks overlooking those beautiful Smoky Mountains. This cabin is located on a dead end street which means less traffic and less distractions from your leisure time. If it is adventure you are after, Legacy Mountain Ziplines has the longest zip line in the country. They have a canopy tour which lasts around 2 1/2 hours. You will experience all 6 of Legacy Mountain Zipline's exciting zip lines that range from 450 to 3,400 feet long!

Legacy Mountain Resort is approximately 13 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (utilizing the back roads to avoid traffic) and about 6 1/2 miles from Dollywood and downtown Pigeon Forge.

We charge an extra $20.00 per night for any adult in your group over 6.

This cabin is NOT pet friendly.

The seasonal outdoor pool is open Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day weekend.
