About this property

This Cape Cod style home is across the street from the bay with nice views from the front porch and 2nd floor deck. The spacious 1st floor rear deck is perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. Located 3 blocks from the beach, one-half block from the 83rd Street public dock and a few blocks from the Stone Harbor public recreation area, and about a dozen blocks to stroll to 96th Street in the evening. On the 1st floor you'll find the living room, eat-in-kitchen, sunroom, one bedroom and a hall bath. The second floor has 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom. This is a great place to come and relax at the Shore.

The photos on the website were not truthful.It appears they were professionally lit and enhanced.The place was run-down.Handwritten notes taped to various items around the house that needed special handling.2 broken chaises on the upper porch.Dark.Huge kitchen table covered with plastic.Tiny TV.Couch opposite TV covered in plastic.Every kitchen cupboard and many closets around the house filled with owner's stuff.One light to read by in LR.Tiny old toilet.10-15 old paper plants.We left after one night.We didn't get our money back. In the 50+ years we've been going to Stone Harbor, this was our worst experience.
