Clean place, convenient location

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and enjoyed the convenience of the location to the activities and restaurants we wanted to go to. The place is also very clean and well kept, and has 2 bedrooms & one bath - all which are upstairs. Our main concern was the air conditioning did not keep the temp cool enough upstairs due to there not being a vent or fan in the master bedroom - so please keep that in mind if it’s summer & you like a cool room at night…you may want to reconsider or bring a fan. Also the stairs are VERY steep & have no railing on one side so it does not seem safe for young children or anyone with physical disabilities - and was not ideal for our dogs. We also had a hard time finding places to take our dogs to the restroom on the property so we had to go across the street to the university campus to find enough grassy area for this.

Run!!!

It had ants all over the back door wall. It had birds living in the master room wall. We found a bed bug as we where getting ready to leave. The owner said they would take care of the ants the next day never did. When I asked for a a refund for 2 night they where rude and said they could only do 1 night but I couldn’t leave a review. I told them it was fine when I got home I contacted the owner and I was told I had to wait 14 days before they would do a refund, so the knew I wouldn’t leave a review. If I want to leave a 5 star review they would refund me right away. Then once 14 days was up I texted the owner and I was blocked. So I called VRBO to get a refund and I’m getting the run around from them also. Beware if you stay here.

Beautifully renovated, all the essentials

We enjoyed the modest back deck with two chairs, in this clean and quiet college neighborhood. It was what we needed for our short stay while in town for a funeral. We contacted the owners, as they had suggested, if there was anything we needed but didn't find. We asked for a hairdryer, ironing board and iron and were told these should have been in the unit. The owners came through and had these items to us early the next morning after we notified him they were not in the unit. We did not find the air bed, and the fourth adult slept comfortably on the sofa using the bedding from one bunk bed.

Kentucky Get Away

Very nice, could walk to downtown restaurants. There was only 2 pots, no frying pan. No blow dryer, or hook or hanger to hang towels in the bathroom. Fridge and silverware drawer needed to be cleaned.
