HUNTERHAUS is the perfect country getaway to enjoy the outdoors!

Our secluded, 4-acre property is located 2 mins from Hunter North, 5 mins from Hunter base lodge, and 13 mins from Windham. We are also 15 minutes from Colgate lake and a number of hiking trails.

Our architect-renovated home is the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend away, an outdoor adventure, or a little bit of both!

Cook dinner for your friends and family in our renovated open-concept chef's kitchen, or prepare your meals outdoors on our gas grill or fire pit. Our 10-foot handcrafted outdoor dining table will have no problem fitting your whole party. Our dining room seats 8 at the table and an additional 4 at the bar.

Relax and unwind in our double-height living room with fireplace, huge custom sectional sofa and 55-inch Samsung TV.

Pamper yourself in our BRAND NEW luxurious master bath, with rain shower, double vanity, and built-in shower bench. The master suite has air conditioning from May through August.

Take a hike on our 4-acre property, or venture past our stone walls to explore 70+ acres of State land right in our backyard. Let your four-legged friends run free in our enclosed ~7000 square foot dog run.

Our kitchen is well-appointed - 12-cup coffee maker, double toaster, griddle, professional-grade stand mixer, 18-piece knife block, and plenty of cookware and serveware.

Our TV is internet enabled - use our YouTube TV and Netflix subscriptions. We have an Xbox in the living room as well.

We have an assortment of board games in our dining room - host a game night! We even have cornhole in the back yard.

We provide towels, linens, and bath products.

We are a husband and wife couple who fell in love with the Catskill mountains. We're originally from Brooklyn NY, and are an architect and real estate appraiser. We love to hike with our dog Jax, cook, travel, and go skiing!

We love this property because it's the perfect balance between seclusion and accessibility - 2 minutes from Hunter Mountain, yet surrounded by forever wild state land in all directions. You could easily go days without seeing another person here if you wish, but you also have easy access to three towns within a 15-minute drive.
