About this property

We are right on the beautiful San Marcos River in downtown San Marcos, and have a lovely view of the river and grounds. Only a couple of blocks to a world class kayaking area at Rio Vista Falls. This is a birders paradise. On a daily basis we see many different species, so bring your binoculars, and camera.
We are also close to several great restaurants. Our home is on the property, so we will be available to help with any of your needs.
This is a wonderful getaway and know that you will love it.
So close to All of the Austin Venues, and Formula 1!

It is also a beautiful venue for weddings, graduation parties, or any other outdoor activities that you need extra space. We also have access to catering services.

This is an upstairs apartment, with a circular staircase, and may not be suitable for persons with physical limitations.

Another great getaway

We have stayed here multiple times. We were pleased with the addition of a full size refrigerator & range. I was able to cook in the room. The river was low at the property (which Barbara warned me about prior to our arrival). But we were still able to float the main part of the river and it was very enjoyable. Very clean & comfortable as always and wonderful hosts.
