20 minutes from Cahors and its Valentré bridge, in the heart of a typical village nestled in the hollow of a peaceful valley, Monique has restored her parents' house with passion in order to transform it into a pleasant vacation spot. Outside, we appreciate the terrace on which we like to take our meals out of sight and sheltered under a parasol; inside, we like these beautiful volumes completely renovated in a spirit combining modernism and old furniture; we also like its comfortable equipment in all the rooms. For swimming (fishing, playground, leisure centre), we go to Lac de Catus 7 km away, and for shopping, the grocery store and bread depot in the village can help out...otherwise, there is a supermarket 5km away! This house is ideal for exploring this corner of the department bordering the Dordogne, where we love these intimate landscapes made up of successions of hills, oak and chestnut forests and meadows. typical villages of the Lot such as Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour and enjoy the coolness of the caves like the famous Gouffre de Padirac. Many activities await you: canoeing, climbing, hiking, boat trip on the Lot without forgetting the discovery of our gastronomy and our wine.
