Beautiful, 5 star Cape Cod beachfront home on the beautiful, emerald-green crystal clear waters of the Gulf coast. You will sink your feet into white powdery sand that is just gorgeous and all yours for your vacation pleasure. There are only 5 stairs to enter the home, and big open areas on main level., so very comfortable home without having to climb up a bunch of stairs.

Our beach cottage has a white picket fence in the front yard with beautiful flowers blooming and swaying palm trees! It is beautifully appointed and has been updated with new furnishings, paint and decorations.

It features triple crown molding in all rooms, travertine tile on all floors, and granite on all counter tops throughout. Beautifully done! Our home has wooden window blinds,vertical blinds, and living room drapes for added beauty.

Guests will enjoy a large living/dining/kitchen open area with complete ocean viewing! The living and all bedrooms have flat screen smart tvs with utube TV, There is plenty of comfortable seating for lots of people. The sectional has a queen sleeper, The speed of the internet is excellent for guests to stream away! There are multiple USB charges as well. The large kitchen with table kitchen table for 6 and a separate dining table is located in the living area with seating for 8/10. The kitchen is always a gathering spot, and you will be enjoying a huge kitchen complete with all amenities. Truly a must if you enjoy cooking and plan to eat a few meals at home! There is a king bedroom on main level and has a large flat screen tv and very large room with full wall of windows view of the ocean. This master has a bathroom that has a small transom window for watching the ocean as you shower! It has a rain shower and a wall shower, but no tub.

The other bedroom on main level is a bunk room with two full size and two twin size bunks and a large flat smart tv on wall.
All of the bunks have their own usb outlets and wall lights. It has a private entrance to a bath that has a tub/shower. It is not gulf front, but you have a complete view of the ocean from it's bay window.

The laundry room is on the main level with separate washer and dryer, and ironing board.

The upstairs master has it's own private balcony and a 43 inch smart tv. It also has only a large tiled shower in the bath, but no tub. There is a full size and portable crib stored in the walk in closet in this room. The room is very large and has it's own balcony to enjoy your coffee while watching the dolphins play.

The other gulf front bedroom upstairs was designed with children or teens in mind. It has two queen beds plus a twin bed, so 5 people can easily sleep in this room. It also has a tv mounted on the wall so all in the beds can view the tv. It's tiled and marbled bath also has a shower, but no tub.

The main level balcony is covered and, and you will enjoy a teak table, and chairs plus two rockers and 2 chaise loungers.. All for your sunning and viewing pleasure, and watching the kiddies on the beach. there are gates for all entrances to the beach for protection of the children.

Plus, there are two beach umbrellas and 4 beach chairs set up for you each morning on your private beach from March-October.

Downstairs there is a large covered porch with an outdoor, private shower. Men and children love taking showers in this bath!!! There is room for sunning in chaise lounges on this level, or enjoying a sun free covered porch with a swing and enough tables and chairs to seat over 20 people. There is a refrigerator/freezer so you don't have to keep running upstairs for a cool drink!

You are within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Kayak, bike, and scooter rentals are directly across the street. There is a convenience store just steps away, a good pizza place, (which also serves breakfasts), and a dairy queen just across the street as well as as beach store. This strip mall has everything! And, if you want wonderful gourmet coffees, step across the street to the Bad Ass Cafe...Wonderful place for breakfast, or walk down the beach to the Whale's Tail for breakfast or lunch. The largest upscale outlet mall in the country is less than two miles away as well as two grocery stores, drug stores, etc.

You will fall in love with this two story adorable beach cottage and want to call it your own. Just a few stairs to climb in the home so it is perfect for small kids and elderly. We have gates from the balcony to the lower level, and from the front door to the walkway to the deck on side of house. This is where the grill is located. We also have gates for use of the stairs in the main living area so little ones can't crawl up or down.

We live in Destin for the winter months and in Cashier's NC for the summer months, but our daughter in law is always standing by to take care of any needs you have, plus Ocean Reef also manages our property so they are there to help.

This is a no smoking home. Non shedding small pets are allowed with owner's permission. There is a pet fee of $200. Up to 5 large cars or suv's can park; 4 in the paved driveway, and one in front of the house

The calendar on vrbo is CURRENT except for weeks that I am awaiting rental agreements, so please check the vrbo calendar before emailing me. Also, we only do Sat to Sat rentals; no daily rentals.
