Charming village house with half-timbering in a small and historically very interesting place. The accommodation is spread over three floors and impresses with a cozy and pleasant interior. A visit to the church built in 1318 in the village is a must. The village overlooks the flat countryside that connects the Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc regions. 70 km to the Mediterranean Sea and its fine sandy beaches. It is less than 130 km to the ski resort of Font-Romeu. Toulouse, the capital of the Midi-Pyrénées, 80 km. The village offers a very nice swimming pool and tennis courts. From Montréal you can take various walking routes, including the Chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle or the GR78 long-distance hiking trail. The network of trails in the Massif de la Malepère is ideal for hiking and mountain biking (6-24 km). In Castelnaudary (25 km) you can take a rental boat for a tour on the Canal of the South, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. If you dream of a vacation in the countryside in a charming and friendly region, this vacation home is a great choice.
