Villa Bonsall - Yurt #5 (Small)

Relax and unwind in a private Mongolian-style Yurt! FREE BREAKFAST every morning! Take a dip in the pool or wander the grounds & discover all the wildflowers! If you're lucky, you'll see one of our 'resident' roadrunners!! In the evening you might hear the coyotes howl in the distance, and in the morning you'll wake up to songbirds!
The space
Cozy & secluded, out on the trail is our small yurt- 'The Writer's Loft'! Perfect for 1-2 people max...12ft in diameter but still room to relax. It has a full bed, desk, mini-fridge & an amazing view out the front door!
FYI: This yurt is on a dirt trail, a short walk from the parking lot, and the trail is a little steep by the yurt.

A restful retreat

This place was amazing! The host and his waifs are very friendly. It was clean and comfortable. The views were fabulous and the food was fantastic. Every thing we could have hoped for and more. Thank you Jason!

Wonderful unique experience

This was a very unique stay that was a bit like camping. It was fun to stay in a yurt and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the canyon with trees, birds, rabbits, squirrels, and yes, spiders. No wifi which meant a peaceful disconnected time. Enjoyed walking the steep canyon roads for exercise every morning. Jason is an excellent host who makes everyone feel welcome and cooks delicious breakfasts served with a smile and good conversation. I would absolutely stay here again. Just keep in mind it is "roughing" it a bit, you have to be able to climb steep trails and be ok with using a porta potty and sharing the one bathroom/shower at the top of the hill with anyone else staying there. But it's worth it.

Yurt

Overall it was a good stay. Could use a little landscaping for the high brush but I know it had been raining there this month. Other then the bathroom situation it was a great experience. The Yurt we stayed in was cool. And the hist was nice and provided a complimentary breakfast
