Updated & Cozy Canal Front - boat, swim, kayak, & golf cart fun!

Water views from our updated kitchen & living room offer sights to see day & night! Features stylish interiors & incredible outdoor spaces. New granite counter tops, new memory foam mattresses, smart TV's in every room. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee bar, smart fridge, laundry room, and updated furniture throughout. We have a new patio table set on the covered deck area for outdoor dining.

Nice sized front yard next to the water for outdoor games.
Bring your boat and/or jet skis to dock at our private deep water pier. We have full access at all tide heights, just 5 minutes to idle out to Intracoastal waterway. Swim, fish, and play in the saltwater with 2 Kayaks and 3 stand up paddleboards included.

We even have an outdoor shower to wash off a long day at the beach before the evening festivities!

We are perfectly situated in an residential area of single family homes on a cul-de-sac on a quiet dead-end road. It is safe for children, for leisurely walks and bike rides.

Take our new 6 passenger golf cart to the Friendly Mart (convenience store), the “Trailer Bar”, and Surf City Line Restaurant & Bar, or the public beach access (with bathrooms) and the ocean side park & play-ground. Public Parking is FREE with the golf cart!

The golf cart is a street legal vehicle. ALL NC driving law apply. You must be 16 with a VALID driver's license to drive golf cart.

Has it ALL

The owners of the home thought of EVERYTHING to make your trip special. From the paddle boards, to the kayaks, to the GOLF CART (like what a perk!), to the cleanliness, the perfectly set up home.... I would definitely rent this home again and again. We docked our TriToon right up to the well maintained dock and went to dinner almost every evening on the water to the main hub of Surf City which is just a 10-15 minute ride up the ICW. We're local to the area and knew so many in the homes around us. You couldn't ask for a friendlier crowd to be around. Katie was very in tune and only a phone call away. The home looked like something right out of a home interior magazine and I was so sad to have to pull out on Saturday. We were sad to miss our normal house this year due to scheduling conflicts, but once we stepped on property the sadness went away and we were blown away with how happy this little piece of heaven made us.

Wonderful Home!

My family had an absolute blast! The house is furnished so beautifully and thoughtfully. It is clean and welcoming. The house has anything you need, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything. Nice appliances and bedding. We used the private dock to fish and park our boat. We had a blast with the provided kayaks and paddle boards in the canal. The golf cart is the perfect extra touch to get to and from the beach. The owners have covered every detail! One of our favorite vacations in Surf City!

Awesome place!

Everything about this place was excellent! The house is very clean and Katie was very easy to contact with any questions. The golf cart and paddle boards/kayaks were an awesome added bonus! Definitely recommend :)

Perfect Getaway

This was a super fun getaway. The paddle boards and kayaks were a huge hit. The golf cart was such a treat. So nice to not have to take our vehicle to the beach. The house is so cute and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Beds are super comfortable, television in every room, great linens, etc. For my teenage boy to say he loved it....you know it's a good one! :)

Houston and Katie (husband and wife) were born and raised in North Carolina. They met at age 13 and instantly became best friends. They were married in 2016 and shortly after welcomed their son, Maverick. They have lived in Wilmington the past 10+ years running their family businesses. Surf City has always been their go to spot to relax and have fun. Real estate investing has been a part of their lives since they were young. Katie is also a local real estate agent which allowed them to secure this home of their dreams on the Surf City Canals.
All of their time is spent outdoors wether it be on the water or in the mountains camping.

Why they chose this property

A dream of Houston and Katie's from very young adulthood was to own on a home on the Surf City Canals. They loved the aspect of being on the water with fishing and boat access from their backyard. It reminded them of growing up on the lakes in North Carolina. This property was a 1 owner property that had been well taken care of and simply needed some updates to fit the times (which just so happens to be right up Katie's ally)
