Charming "home from home"
After reading reviews of Tony's B&B, I felt it would be a lovely place to stay, and it certainly was. In a lovely part of town, part of a quiet avenue of beautifully maintained terraces from a bygone era, this spacious basement apartment has everything you could want and more, including a well-stocked fridge (milk, butter, bread, bagels, eggs, juice, etc, etc), kitchen with all the pots, pans, etc you could need to self-cater, dishwasher, clothes washer and drier, comfortable lounge with lots of information re Toronto, and just a short block away from trams. And then there's Tony - very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble - he even drove me to my last stay in Toronto when his B&B wasn't available for that night. I could not recommend Tony and his B&B more highly.

Cabbagetown’s Sweet Spot
On my first trip to Toronto, I wasn’t sure where to go… I wanted a quaint neighborhood, with little shops, restaurants, trees, gardens, EASY access to public transportation, easy getting to downtown, friendly hosts, cute little apartment, nice neighbors… This sweet Garden apartment is this and so much more!! A charming back patio a very walkable town( my friend and I averaged 7+ miles a day… ). Tony and Steve were splendid hosts with suggestions on what to do, odd needs (I like to cook) in the kitchen, and very quick on requests and questions… We got to know a few of the neighbors and so enjoyed the diversity of the neighborhood! You will definitely be happy with this little home away from home…

A Nice Place to Stay
We had very pleasant experience renting this property. The property manager provided great value -- obtaining our neighborhood parking pass, stocking the fridge with breakfast essentials (including eggs, OJ, milk, bread, and butter), welcoming us with a bottle of wine, and providing documented information about the neighborhood. The property is located in a clean, safe and friendly neighborhood, with a pub, restaurants, bakeries, etc. within close walking distance. We always found parking available on our block. Tony, the property manager was accessible, and accommodating; and he is a very pleasant person, who did everything to ensure that our stay was pleasant
