About this property

Nestled just outside of town, Moody Oaks is a custom barndominium that offers plenty of space to entertain, sleep and play. Perfect for a hunters retreat or a family getaway. There are two bathrooms and bedrooms which can sleep up to 10 people. A fully stocked kitchen allows you to enjoy a homecooked meal. If you prefer to cook in the great outdoors, you can use the pellet grill to cook up the perfect dove poppers after an afternoon of hunting. Spend your evenings relaxing by the firepit or on one of two patios and enjoy the quietness of country living (with the occasional train). If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the local wildlife including deer, birds, rabbits and more.

We look forward to hosting you for your next hunter’s getaway, family vacation or just a quiet weekend outside of the hustle and bustle of city life.

Hands down the best hosts i've ever stayed with and i've been traveling for years. We were in a pickle with a move and they were more than a combinating. They helped us above and beyond. The place was absolutely stunning very clean and well kept. They Really do take care of everything. This is a great place to stay and we would love to come back

Awesome Hunters retreat

This is my second time staying here and as before everything was perfect an maybe a little better than last year. The property is very clean and the baked good are very much appreciated. These folks understand their clientele. We look forward to booking again next year.

Plenty of room/beds

We were in the area for a wedding. There were 7 adults. We had plenty of space with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Everything was clean and easy to use!

Excellent Country Getaway

My family lives in Castroville, but not enought room for my bunch to stay. This completely beats having to stay in a 2 room hotel for a weekend. Simple pleasures are the best!
