About this property

Sunset is an adorable lakefront property with 343 feet of sandy shoreline on 1600-acre Long Lake outside of Willmar Minnesota, 2 hours west of the Twin Cities. A perfect place to fish all year round, take your boat out and enjoy the lake-life fishing, water skiing, tubing, and just relaxing. In the evenings enjoy a campfire and phenomenal sunsets.

NO WORK CREWS OR THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS.

This beautiful cabin accommodates up to 6 people with a queen bed in the main bedroom, a full-size bed in the second bedroom and two twins in the front bedroom.

Sunset has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, refrigerator and excellent cookware.

There is a 3-season porch with windows on 3 sides that give you a wonderful view of the lake and woods.

There is a doorbell / video camera installed outside the front entrance. This is for security and safety of our guests. There are no other cameras installed on the property.

We live very close to the cabin and can respond quickly to questions or concerns as they arise.

Our cabin is a family friendly vacation place. Please note that later in the summer the quality of the lake water is susceptible to environmental conditions.

We keep our pontoon docked on the cabin property and consider the dock a shared space so that we can use our pontoon. However, we provide advance notice when we plan to use the pontoon so as not to disturb our guests.

If you plan to bring your own boat, there is plenty of room at the dock for your use.

Family Vacation

Very nice place for our family of 5. Very clean with anything you need. Due to weather conditions lake was down and a little green but we made the best of it and still had a blast.

Great weekend getaway

This was the perfect spot for a weekend reunion with my best friend. We did not go in the lake, but we loved sitting on the beach and listening to nature. The house had amazing views and was very cozy. The location was convenient - close enough to any essential shopping and numerous restaurants, but private and surrounded by nature. Hosts were very responsive and great at checking in to see if there were any needs.

The cabin used to be a 'hunting shack' and we have put in a lot of work over the years doing repairs and upgrades. The cabin is decorated with fun antiques. This is a lovely home-away-from home, and we hope that you will enjoy your stay.
