Newly remodeled, this expansive one-story home has a large two-car garage with two Juicebox 48amp EV chargers on site in the garage. These type 2 chargers work with all electric vehicles.

Nice clean place

We booked on a late notice and the host was quick to confirm the reservation. The place was nice and clean, I could let the small kids play on the carpet and floor without worries. Spacious master bed. There's a garage, but the door is not super big, so I didn't even try getting my large SUV in. Even though the heating is satisfactory, I wish there was fireplace. Reasonable cleaning fee made a 1-night stay affordable. Overall, would stay again.

Excellent stay and Andermatt Earth Home

We stayed at the Andermatt Earth Home during the Christmas break in 2022 and we had an excellent time. The hosts were excellent in communicating the check-in process well in advance. The property was in excellent condition, very spacious for our party (4 adults + 4 kids) with three bedrooms. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking ingredients and utensils, showers stocked with soaps and towels, donner club passes and a guide book. We really enjoyed the access to the back of the property through the french doors near the dining area. The kids enjoyed snowplay right at our door step. Thank you for hosting us and we hope to return soon !!

Great getaway in the snow

Jasmine and Jeremy are amazing hosts! They were quick to answer any questions and their listing is perfect for families/groups. The backyard had plenty of snow for the kids to play in and the passes for discount sledding/tubing were a bonus we didn't expect. They were quick to respond when we had some questions about the house and the house is so well stocked for some cooking! We would definitely stay here again.

We are Jasmine and Jeremy Lin, the proud owners of this beautiful and unique home in the Tahoe-Donner neighborhood in Truckee, California.

We live year round in Truckee after moving here from Santa Cruz, California in the summer of 2020. It has always been a dream of ours to plant our roots in the Tahoe region. Truckee’s extraordinary scenery and exceptional landscape provides the opportunity for visitors to relax, recharge, and recreate. We hope you enjoy this area as much as we do!

At an elevation of 6,600 feet, the Andermatt Home is a very special and unique place. This house is a “partial Earth Shelter'' with sides of the structure settled into the hillside providing for energy efficiency during the seasons; hot summer days tend to stay cooler, and cold winter nights retain heat. This home is unique with nothing similar in the area!
