At the end oa the perfect home,
This is a great getaway! The setting is beautiful and the owners are such wonderful people! I would definitely recommend!!!!
Relaxing and serene
Beautiful property and views. Best pet friendly place we have stayed. The home was clean and comfortable reminded me of grandmas house. The kind of place that’s super comfortable and cozy. You can sit on the expansive deck and gaze at the lush green rolling hills doted with cattle, horses and of course the Llamas. We got Llama kisses they were so friendly and seemed to love people. The horses and donkeys were a treat also, our dogs loved them once they got used to each other . The animals would see us come out and make their way towards us in greeting. We hiked some in the Cherokee National Forest, the trailhead is within walking distance. Enjoyed the Gatlingberg trail in Gatlingberg which is about an hour away. white tailed deer nearby , what a treat with their long white tails bobbing in the wind as they ran., I had no idea their tails were so long , looked like my Husky's tail. Thank you Ginny and Ed it was perfect, you thought of everything and were the perfect hosts. We will be back. Rose and Tony Anderson Asheville NC, Dogs: Zeus and Luna. ( I would not change a thing)
Great location. Clean cabin. Everyone enjoyed farm animals.
Slice of heaven...
Great place to kick back, enjoy nature, catch up on some reading, writing, (no 'rithmatric)😋🤗!!! Super-great, friendly hosts who are there if you need them, but definitely give you your privacy...
Other Activities: viewing wildlife, horseshoes, shopping, boating

About Ed or Ginny Miller
We are Ginny & Ed Miller. I'm a native Texan (with roots in Tennessee) while Ed is from Upstate New York. We lived in the Clear Lake City, Texas area for 21 years where we worked for NASA/Johnson Space Center. From Houston, we moved to Colorado Springs for a year and then Washington, DC for 17 years. Ed worked for the Department of Defense while I worked in the human resources field in several different industries.
Ed or Ginny Miller purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Ed or Ginny Miller chose Parrottsville
Ed's brother moved to Parrottsville and was married here. The reception was held at a local resort within walking distance of our cabin. Family members stayed at the cabin prior to us purchasing it from the resort, less than 6 months later. We fell in love with the quiet beauty of this area. It took us almost 4 years before we were able to move to Parrottsville and enjoy this 'little piece of heaven' on a full-time basis.
What makes this Cabin unique
The peace and quiet are something that can't be described. For people who live "life in the fast lane" the peacefulness of our farm can help our guests to become back "in balance." At night we don't have "light pollution" so the evening sky is beyond description. Many nights, we can see the Milky Way. Again, it's difficult to describe the beauty of walking outside and seeing a sky full of planets/stars with meteorites trailing across in the distance.
