beautiful house, poor communication

the house is exactly what is shown on the listing ; very clean and modern. however, once we checked in, we failed to receive a response on questions we had about the property. beforehand there was great communication. i was unaware of what their operating hours, which is M-F 9-5. it was not listed anywhere on the listing or in the guest welcome book guide so i was surprised that the responses from the host abruptly stopped also, the propert had so many rules that we felt we couldn’t fully enjoy ourselves in fear of causing any extra charges. we weren’t notified beforehand that we have the keep the thermostat above a certain temperature which made us all sleep a tad uncomfortable. the rooms lacked dressers/benches to put luggage away and clothes. the pool light did not work so we were in the pool at night in the dark. also please note that the walls are extremely thin and you can hear EVERYTHING in each room (yes… everything)

Nice stay

Our stay here was nice. The house is pretty much just as advertised and host is good. Would give 5 stars if not for the fact that the twin beds were basically cots with stiff metal springs (queen and king were decently comfy though). Also there was an upcharge for literally everything incl using the grill and things as little as using an extra roll of toilet paper. Just felt a little stingy but wasn’t a big deal in the end. Overall we had a good stay.
