The bright and spacious open living area is warmed by a gas stove and has a new sofa and a TV for streaming shows using your login credentials. The beautifully updated kitchen beckons home chefs to play. Gather for memorable meals at the eight-seat dining area.

The enormous deck is ideal for breathing in the lovely fresh alpine scent, relaxing in the natural shade of the towering pines, and rejuvenating in the private hot tub. Enjoy access to a variety of resort-style amenities at the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center, located less than a mile from your door.

Things to Know
Tahoe Donner guest passes allow four people per pass to access the recreation facilities, for a total of eight people. A $20 fee per person/per day will apply. Children under the age of 7 are free.
While chains are required in all vehicles in winter, a 4x4 or equivalent is recommended.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Dock details: There is a private dock at the Tahoe Donner Marina. Please bring your guest access cards.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A nice stay close to skiing.

The home appears to have been recently renovated throughout with new, upscale kitchen appliances, bathrooms, showers. Very clean. What a nice plus to be able to park one vehicle in the garage!! The hot tub was great. It was heated to 104 degrees 24/7. It would be better if it had an on/off timer. The only minor negative: It was very difficult to regulate the gas fireplace. Never sure on how to get it to turn down (or off).

Solid Tahoe Donner Stay

Great location if you're looking to use the Tahoe Donner facilities. The house itself met our needs. The one thing that could have been better is making sure Vacasa is diligent about following up with local snow removal companies and ensuring the property is well serviced during the winter months/when snow storms are in the forecast. The driveway to the house was not plowed from the previous snow storm when we arrived (I looked around, all the neighbors had their driveways plowed). There was already a lot of snow and ice in the driveway, making it difficult to get into the house. The night of our arrival, another snow storm hit, adding more snow to the driveway and trapping us in (one of the cars have to park out in the driveway) since the snow was now too much for us to be able to shovel out.

Great home and location

Had a great time staying here. House was really clean and is in a great location. Stove and microwave have been updated and has everything you need to cook there. Hot tub on the patio was a huge plus. Not much privacy in the backyard but every house in the area is like that. I would stay here again.

This was the perfect space for our families' adventures in Truckee

This house was very spacious, and although a bit older, it was very clean and well taken care of. The hot tub was huge and very nice, as was the back deck with the BBQ. We had all the amenities in the kitchen that we could have possibly needed and there were plenty of towels for all of us. Beware though that the neighbors are a pain and have no problem asking you to stop talking if you are on the back deck, even if it is before quiet hours. This "Karen" and her husband are probably the ones who reported the other person who left a review saying they left all the lights on. Apparently, they have nothing better to do than look for a reason to complain. Other than that, this place is fabulous!
