Great Spot

We lived in Wichita for a long time and always loved the neighborhood this listing is located in -- moved away 4 yrs ago and back visiting family for Christmas. Though you're on a main street - your unit is in the back of the duplex and you can not hear a thing inside -- we slept like logs. Mattresses were comfortable. My wife and I along with our 7 yo and 8 month old stayed -- any larger group and you may be pushing it for space but it was perfect for us - place is updated and is likely the most well stocked as far as essentials goes of any vacation rental we've stayed in -- in our haste to get out of town we had forgotten a couple minor things at home and surprisingly this unit had the little things folks may forget on a trip or need. That was awesome to save a trip to walgreens etc. Would definitely stay here again if it's open and we have an extended stay in Wichita again.

Originally from Massachusetts, I came to Wichita in 1989 to attend Wichita State University. I never left. Wichita is a great city with so much to offer citizens and guests.

Why they chose this property

Mid-Century modern architecture has made a comeback in recent years. In Wichita, there are not many structures left from this era. I dedicated my time and resources to preserve this building. There are few left in the area.
