Terrible communication both with property owner and company

Terrible communication. Booked the property days in advance. Host never gave us instructions on how to access the property but took our money. We tried to contact her multiple times via through the app and calls. VRBO also tried contacting the host with no success. The company would not let us cancel our stay even though we were hours from checking in with no access to the property and no communication with the property owner. When we finally got a hold of property owner, he had to check into a hotel, she would not refund our money in full. This was an absolute nightmare of an experience for what should have been fun on our vacation. I am highly disappointed both in the company and the property owner.

Wonderful spot!

What a great week. This was an anniversary trip for our parents. We had everything we could want in one spot. Boat lift, well appointed kitchen, quick response to challenges. Would recommend for a family get away.

Great location, bedding problem

Owners and managers did their best to satisfy. Nice to have a dock and multiple places to sit near water. Swimming off dock was easy, safe and fun. Advertised as sleeping 10. But 9 & 10 were on a pullout sofa with no mattress. Managers quickly provided one, but one of us had to sleep directly on springs one night. I would say it’s a good place for 8. Garbage removal confusing — no trash can or recycling bin until I asked several times. Interesting places and good restaurants nearby.

Family reunion at the Lake House

Our family reunion had three generations- grandparents, adults, a toddler and infant. Beautiful home with very large outdoor spaces and a dock. Very responsive owner who was very accommodating. We all loved the 3-sided lake view screened dining room-our family had many wonderful meals looking out over the lake, watching the wildlife, and loving the quiet of this location. Outside areas on ground level include a shaded area with couch and chairs, fire pit, and an additional large table for eating with an umbrella. We had plenty of room to set up a port-a-crib in the shade for our 6 month grandson, swim with our 1 year old granddaughter, and fish off the dock! The layout of the house gave everyone space and privacy. We brought a boat and the dock worked out great! We loved the swim ladders on the dock to access swimming.

We have a permanent dock with a 22' boat hoist. Parking for 6 cars! This property offers all the unique amenities for a relaxing, refreshing, and renewing vacation!

If you are in need of a boat we are able to get you one for $2,000 per week. We supply unlimited firewood. Our 60' dock can tie up bigger boats if needed. Enjoy our 15' water tramp! Minutes to Downtown Canandaigua and all it has to offer, including CMAC and Lincoln Hill Farms.
