House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
I am married to a wonderful wife, and we have four daughters. We moved to in Orlando just in time for Hurricane Irma in September 2017 after retiring from the Air Force in 2012 and staying in Northern Virginia. Maria might be your flight attendant on Southwest Airlines. Vanessa, our eldest, works for Disney. Victoria, 2 of 4, now lives in Orlando after an active duty stint in Air Force at Andrews AFB, MD. Jennifer, next in line, is active duty after graduating from the Air Force Academy in Colorado. Our youngest, Emy, works for Disney and Universal and can do some amazing freehand drawing.
Lou purchased this House in 2003
Why Lou chose
We bought this home because Indian Creek is a nice, quiet community which is one of the closest to Walt Disney World.
What makes this House unique
Mickey's Manor is our first home, and we like this home because the swimming pool has a wading area with a fountain that is great for the kids playing. This home is also our only one with bamboo hardwood flooring.

Perfect location for a Disney World vacation. The house was clean and the couch was very comfortable and large.
No Hot Water
There was little or no hot water .Cold showers are a problem.
My wife had to clean the pool area when we arrived.Dirt all over no good for bare feet.Air Conditioner was not able to keep house cool.Living area furniture needs up dating. Sofa is old and coffee table is all beat up.
The guest didn't mention anything during stay.
beautiful home right by disney!
this is a beautiful, well maintained property in a quiet neighborhood. its minutes from Disney as advertised. just a few bullet points:
-you WILL fall asleep on the living room couch. so comfortable!
-the beds ARE a bit stiff, but not uncomfortably so. we still slept great.
-they do provide you with some toiletries, but you might want to bring an extra roll of paper towels or toilet paper if you are staying more than just a few days. we were there for a full week.
-both grills were still dirty when we got there (can't really blame the owner for that) so be prepared to clean if you plan on bbq-ing.
-the hot water was finicky. it didn't last very long, even if we hadn't used it all day.
all in all, great experience. this house had everything we needed. we would definitely look to book this house or one of lou's other homes in the future!
Great rental location. Very close to Disney but in a quiet neighborhood
Close to Disney
This was a great house close to Disney. We loved the pool on our days off and the big comfy couch. The dining table was big enough for us enjoy meals together. It would be nice if it came with a few more basic spices and basic supplies to get you through the first day, like dish soap, dish sponge, one dish washer pod, etc. Overall, the house has a lot of room and is a great place to stay especially if you want to be close to Disney and take your fur babies along. We would definitely stay here again.
Property is very outdated. Had internet problems the first day. When called to have them addressed, was told property manager was in Washington D.,C. & wouldn’t be back u til the following day. Shower wouldn’t have hot water if the dishwasher or washing machine had just run. Ugly Alger on the siding in the back yard. When we called vrbo to address the concerns, was told they couldn’t get in touch with the owners. Asked for them to contact me & they never did. Pictures available. Also previous cleaning job was sub par. Found hairs all over the master shower surround. Absolutely disgusting.
