About The space:
Apollo Beach is a residential coastal village with easy access to downtown Tampa and the bay area's many sights and attractions! Our cheerful home is the perfect getaway for much needed rest and relaxation, or funfilled days in the sun with your family or friends! The canal leads directly into Tampa Bay - book a charter to pick you from the dock and spend the day exploring the waterways. Home is stocked full of outdoor amenities, as well as child necessities.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with cooking and dining basics. Refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range, & microwave. Large pantry, breakfast bar with indoor/outdoor seating and dining table for 8. Traditional coffee maker, blender, toaster, wine opener, cutting board, knife block & more!

Additional Amenities: Free WIFI, 2 Smart TVs, Cable, washer/dryer (external entry laundry room), multi-size life jackets, cooler, ample outdoor seating, pool lounge chairs, luggage racks, hangers, blow dryer, portable fans, work desk for two (no computer).

*Apollo Beach is an easy 30-40 minute drive into all the city of Tampa has to offer, and within an hour of many gorgeous Gulf Coast beaches!
*Busch Gardens is an easy day trip! Disney is about an hour and half away, as are the amazing beaches of Clearwater, St. Pete Beach, and Anna Maria!
*Apollo Beach Plaza is less than 2 miles away and complete with Publix, CVS, Starbucks, UPS and many options for restaurants and local shops.
*Watch the stunning Florida sunset over the Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg skylines from the Apollo Beach Nature Preserve beach or lookout tower, a quick 1.5 mile stroll from home (no swimming allowed).
*Less than 5 minutes to the well-maintained Apollo Beach Park and Community Center, which features many amenities including a playground, splash pad, sport courts and a skate park.

Best Vrbo Experience

Our stay was a blast. Daughter loved the sand pit (16 months). Beds super comfortable, space was clean and there were supplies you would not normally expect with a vrbo rental. Kids toys were also nice. You could definitely tell they have had kids or grand kids. The adults loved it too. Plenty of lounge seating on the patio. Nice open spacing inside. I couldn't say enough good things! We would definitely look to rebook in the future.

Wonderful host and property!

My husband and I were in town for a weekend family event, so our stay was short, but oh so very comfortable and enjoyable! Kristen was an excellent and pleasant host; replied to queries upon booking, sent timely information prior to checking in, and promptly answered a query I had during my stay. As for the house itself, it was super clean and just as described in the listing. Pantry has some good basics, as well as cooking items (measuring cups!! -- other rentals i've made don't seem to include these). Minor recommendation might be to replace current skillet, as it's a little overused at this point, but that was very minor. We were able to lounge by the pool, use the BBQ, and kayak out on the canal in the early afternoon (don't forget the mosquito spray like we did though!) This home would be a great base for couples like ourselves, or families with young children -- there isn't a lot of clutter, which is great (so that there isn't any danger of breaking something). Generous supply of towels and linens. Clear and accurate information provided throughout -- everything is so well-organized. I would happily return here, or recommend this rental to friends!

Great little home for families traveling with children

My husband and I stayed at Apollo Blue for 5 nights with our two young children. The house was comfortable and included amenities that made traveling with kiddos a little easier. It was appreciated to find several bottled waters in the fridge and a number of kids books and toys that they enjoyed throughout our stay. I had messaged Kristen and asked if it was possible to have the pool safety fence set up prior to our arrival and that was accommodated no problem. We used the pool every single day (perfect temperature, very clean) and also enjoyed a morning kayak trip. Several meals were enjoyed on the lanai and we had our coffee most days out on the dock. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We made day trips to the Tampa Zoo, Florida Aquarium, and Busch Gardens and all were about 30-35 mins. It was wonderful having full laundry and a trial size of detergent available, too.
