The farm is located on one of the soft hills of olive and pure secular woods, near medieval and charming villages such as Cibottola, St. Apollinare, Spina, Monte Vibiano.

The structure is composed of a big-stone farmhouse, on the road from Mercatello to Cibottola, with a spacious-surrounding space and a splendid view of Perugia and Assise. Within a radius of a few Kilometers, the farm may become the logistical base to reach the 20% of the world-artistic patrimony: Perugia (14 km), Assisi and Todi (40 km), Gubbio (60 km), Rome (140 km), Florence (140 km), Siena (90 km): a fascinating and enviable tour of art and culture.

At only 20 minutes run away, there is the Trasimeno lake with its isles and beaches that give the possibility to practice all aquatic sports. The big-stone farmhouse, completely restructured in 1977, rises in a panoramic position at 400 mt of height in the middle of surrounded olive-grove; a swimming-pool and a wide wooden arcade complete the common areas. Skillful men have executed the the restructure work to preserve the ancient aspect of the stone, while the interior has been restored in a refined way so that guests can feel at home.

A lovely, chill stay

The apartment had the loveliest location and views of Umbria. Perfect for 4 people, with a large balcony and a lot of outside space 🌸

La location est on ne peut mieux située : proximité des lieux de visites et calme procuré par les collines ombriennes. Nous étions logés dans les appartements annexes, très propres et accueillants, avec terrasse et vue somptueuse sur Pérouse et Assise. La piscine est suffisamment grande et bien équipée en transats et parasols. Tanja, la propriétaire, est très soucieuse du confort de ses hôtes. Le dîner proposé le dernier jour nous a permis de savourer une kyrielle de pizzas toutes plus savoureuses les unes que les autres, arrosées d'excellents vins locaux : une manière de finir en beauté une semaine inoubliable ! A little piece of heaven

From the beginning dealing with Tanja was so easy and hassle free. when we drove up the road to the house we all smiled. its so peaceful and the view of the country side is amazing. the location is close to most attractions, within an half hour to an hour. a car is helpful. The 3 bedroom apartment is huge, very clean and cool. our 3 girls loves the pool and exploring the property. they also enjoyed the daily visits from the bakery. one of the highlights is Pizza night hosted by Tanja and her husband...fantastic homemade appies, pizzas and great wine. we met a lot of wonderful families. Thanks so much for making our stay so great.

Everything We Hoped for - And More!

Relaxing, romantic, delightful, fun, fascinating, delicious... I could go on and on! What a wonderful week my husband and I and two of our friends had in the kind hospitality of Tanja and her family. Comparatively economical, lovely, with beautiful views, hammocks to dream in, and a fireplace to enjoy our locally-purchased cheeses, sausages, and wines in front of... I can't recommend this retreat enough! It was all we hoped for and more. Tanja guided me to the farmers market, suggested local hilltown visits, arranged for fabulous agritourism experiences, and even kindly led us in by phone - and then actually got into her car at 10:30 at night to meet us - when we were lost on the back roads. We are still talking about it and pull out our pictures frequently, longing to return.Hopefully someday! In the meantime... I hope you choose to take our place. Thank you Tanja and family for a lifetime memory! NOTE: Bring a GPS.

Excellent base to explore Umbria and Tuscany

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a fantastic stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean (the entire property is impeccable) and the surroundings are peaceful and stunningly beautiful. We explored different towns every day and took the train to Firenze one day (train station is 40 minute drive and the train ride is1-2 hours). Highly recommended.

Hello there! That is me-Tanja and my partner Francesco. We love to travel, and we enjoy making other holidays memorable; that is mainly why we love our job: it gives us a great opportunity to get the chance to introduce Umbria to guests throughout food, wine and staying at our lovely country house. After six years of working experience in tourism, we thought it was time to start with a new project - a lovely country house in a charming Umbrian countryside with organized dinners for our guests. We organize simple dinners, have a taste of real Umbrian cuisine, home made pasta by our local ladies, pizza and lasagna from the wood stove, red wine from the local winery, olive oil from our olive trees (750) ... just using quality products exclusively from the area. Upon request, we organize as well courses in ceramics, olive oil tasting, visit to the local wine farms, tours to the cities, etc..

I'm from Slovenia and have come to Umbria because of love, Francesco's family is Umbrian and we, with the help of friends and local ladies, think we know best how to represent this region in it's best features. Plus, the place is ideal for visiting the towns and cities in Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio.

Florence and Rome are just 1.5 hour with car/train from us, and the main spots in Umbria such as Assisi, Bevagna, Spello, Montefalco, Foligno, Spoleto, Lago Trasimeno, Citta di Castello, Terni, Orvieto are a short drive from the property.
