The Gas Lantern-Quiet and Convenient Pets

The finest Southern living in the Savannah area, as well as many modern conveniences, can be found in Richmond Hill, Georgia, just off I-95 and 35 minutes from downtown.

Our “Gas Lantern Cottage” is a historic home in a quiet neighborhood. It features room to relax, and a safe place for pets while you’re on the road.

Richmond Hill has one of the best school districts in the area and plenty of places to shop. You may enjoy your stay with us so much, you’ll want to stay for a lifetime.

Two bedrooms can host up to 4 people. There is a queen-sized bed in one room, and a double bed in the other. There are two bathrooms as well.

The home also has an office with desk and swivel chair. Wi-Fi is available to keep you in business, should that be a reason for your visit to the area.

The home comes with a fenced-in back yard, and a screened-in patio.

There is a driveway and a covered car port.

For stays of 38 nights or more, we are able to split your payments into multiple payments so that you do not have to pay for the entire amount upfront. Please contact us for more information on this.

Pets are welcome.

Dog Breeds NOT Allowed are Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, Chow Chows, Presa Canarios and Wolf Hybrids. Violators of our pet policy will be asked to vacate the property without any refund.

Magnificent house and Awesome host.

My family stayed here for three nights. Everything exceeded our expectations. From check-in to our stay to finally checking out. It all went very well. We’ll be back next time we’re in The Savannah area again.

Handy and enjoyable property

Overall the property was exactly what I needed. My daughter had our first grandchild on November 6th. My son and my other daughter were able to come and visit which they did for two or three days. The property was very handy to my daughters home and two local community assets. The only complaint that I have is that the couch smell like a dog. Some of the screening on the back porch also needed repair. But overall this property has excellent for a short-term stay. I stayed 15 days and enjoyed it tremendously.
