So filthy we left

The neighborhood is pretty grimy, certainly not the upscale "old town Scottsdale" you're thinking it might be. The entryway is off a pretty scary alley. And the access code to enter the property didn't work, really fun with a cranky toddler in tow. We soon then realized just how filthy the place was. Filthy as in a previous guests dirty underwear still there, long hairs all over the bedsheets that smelled so musty & dusty dog paw prints and fur everywhere (thought it was a pet free property?). We left and got a hotel and only received a partial refund after some arguing. Seriously makes me reconsider using the entire VRBO platform ever again. If you do book here... Good luck.

Good Long weekend Vacation spot

This property was pretty good for a 3 night stay with my friend. The beds are very comfortable and king size which was awesome. You can tell it's a vacation rental and not someone's home but I do not mind about that. I felt like it could've been cleaned in the living room and kitchen areas a little bit better but again nothing that truly bothered me. The only thing was the stopper they had on the water in the shower that only allowed you to turn the nozzle halfway - resulting in room temp showers or colder considering it was pretty cold for being in Arizona when we stayed (40's at night). The location is pretty good and we were able to get lyft rides for fairly cheap all around Scottsdale and into phoenix. Overall not a bad stay and certainly cheaper than a lot of other options I looked at!
