Deer, chipmunks, squirrels and unlimited bird species! 3 kayaks and one canoe for your use. Wireless high speed internet and printer for your use. Fully furnished kitchen, linens and toiletries. Conveniences are 5 min, groceries and Lake Lure/ Chimney Rock is 10min. Rates are based on 2-4 occupancy

Best vacation rental ever!!!

This is an absolutely beautiful mountain home on a peaceful cove on the lake. The location is perfect. It's private and quiet yet close to shopping and dining. The owner was great to work with and very responsive. The deer visited us every day and night. We also enjoyed catching some nice fish from the dock. We had a great stay!

Peaceful, restful getaway

A beautiful, well-appointed home on the lakefront. Swimming, kayaking, fishing, walking, biking, hiking. Great location! Gorgeous landscaping, view and plenty of birds and critters to just sit and enjoy watching. Plenty of seating everywhere, and super comfortable furnishings. So quiet! The perfect spot to rest and recharge. So thankful for our time here.

Great house/very peaceful

This house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It’s a beautiful property and very well maintained. Very very clean! Just loved everything about it. Have recommended it to friends for future trips. 3 bedrooms available all with queen beds and two full bathrooms. Two full living areas. Also 2 bunk beds in lower level living area. Beautifully decorated!!

Family of owner arrived halfway through our rental

Easy rental, no issues until owner’s family arrived two days before our rental ended and seemed quite surprised we were there. All worked out well with good communication (and a refund) but only because we didn’t really need the rental for those two nights - would have been a very awkward situation if we had. I suspect that situation will not happen again. Beautiful large cabin with gorgeous outdoor spaces, lake access.

Exceptional vacation home

This home has everything. A great relaxing location on the lake. Extremely comfortable with quality furnishings. Very well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

Originally from Up State NY, between Rochester and Buffalo, currently living in South Florida, Cape Coral. We recently purchased this home, 1st time offered as a vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

this property has awesome views, deep water access, kayaks and canoe included free. Sooo peaceful you can hear a pin drop. This community not gated but so well designed roads and landscaping. This home has everything! Porches, decks, lots of outside seating. The lake is also so relaxing. Yet so close to hiking trails, waterfalls, wineries, conveniences and shopping.
