Pickleball court?? Yes!!!! There are two houses on the 10 acre estate...the main mansion and the carriage house. The mansion has 5 big living and dining areas downstairs with unbelievable patios wrapping around 180 degrees, a modern kitchen, and the upstairs has 5 beautiful bedrooms with 3 full baths and a mirroring patio to the first floor. The carriage house currently has a small kitchen, full bath, 3 bedrooms, and a bunk nook upstairs. The back patio of the carriage house has a ping pong table and a 6-person hot tub! The game room has a commercial air hockey table, pool table, pinball, and 3 arcades!!!! The pool is amazing and there are disk golf baskets, a full-size pickleball court, a putting green, a fire pit, and seating for more than 35 spread around the outdoor property. This place truly is one of a kind where history meets modern amenities.

The property offered this family of 20+ pretty much all we needed. Loved the pickleball court and location was close enough for the majority of the family. We needed more bathrooms was an issue but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

TLC would make it perfect

Beautiful property, wanted the kids to have a swimming birthday party.. we’re not told until just arriving of $299 heating charge. Only one television. At least 14 light bulbs out, major location floor tile evident to have been loose before, mixer but no bowel with it one microwavable dish or cup, we used our own blankets to be warm at night. Dryer hose was off and had been for quite awhile, we fixed it, we’re not told of instruction book to run things so had issues. This all sounds bad, so sorry. Was in the bnb industry for twenty years so know what is expected. We totally enjoyed being in one location together!

Best trip of the year!

If you are looking for a house to truly do everything in this is the house for you! From all the games this house provides from the pool, game room, hot tub, Chessboard, pickleball, Ultimate frisbee, & so much more! The home itself is amazing! Enough space for everyone! Such an amazing host!

Why they chose this property

Some people say Austin isn't really Texas but we love both and feel that this property gives you a chance of enjoying both! Look out of the property in one direction and you will see Elgin, Texas with its award-winning BBQ, and out of the window on the second floor, you can literally see the Austin skyline 20-something miles down the road. Why not get both? Amenities abound...Pickleball, disk golf, fire pit, ping pong, arcade, fire pit, 75-inch QLED TV etc etc.

What makes this property unique

This property is our dream vacation rental...the Rivers family were an early establishing family of Elgin running a mercantile and the town bank and it has stayed in the family for over a century. The previous owners put in an estimated quarter million dollars of upgrades, expansions, and rehab and we have come in behind them to do even more. The main house has a perfect sprawling downstairs to host a large group or event in 5 interconnected rooms plus a huge wrap around patio. The second floor has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths and another mirroring wrap around balcony that would be perfect for a bride and her whole wedding party. The carriage house has more sleeping spaces upstairs (2) and a full bath and a small kitchen downstairs with two more bedrooms and a large game room. Extra (nice!) cots can go where needed. . Oh, and there is a putting green, and an amazing pool with a slide with a huge cabana and a Pickleball court!! It goes on and on and on!
